...I am a collector of rare retro japaneese sports cars & my most best has too be the "Nissan Sunny GSX Sports Coupe" The engine fitted too this vehicle is a 1600cc single overhead cam chain driven block,powered by a Hitachi twin choke carburettor. The style of engine,is much more better than the standard Sunny Coupe,which is fitted with a rubber cambelt & if not checked regular,often snaps & leads to much serious damage. The 2 engines in question,do look alike here,but the rubber cambelt model,has a black shield casing,mounted too the right hand side of the engine block. The engine of course is front wheel drive on all of these model Nissans. I have had a earlier standard Nissan Sunny Coupe,about 4 years ago now,which really started the so called ball rolling on these kind of vehicles,but due too the previous owners not caring outlook...

Advantages: peerless reliability, great economy, excellent gesarshift.
Disadvantages: bad image, underpowered engines, handling problems when wet

...i bought a silver blue 1994 m reg nissan sunny tropic (tropic meant it came with a factory fit sunroof) as my first car, this particular car has the 16 valve 1397cc (1.4) engine, which i will admit is fairly pokey, but not that powerful when pushed,. the car drives well enough in the dry, but you really have to drop te pace when it gets wet,. no other reviewers have mentioned this which i find odd, is it just my vehicle? or do you all live in incredibly dry places. when its wet, expect lots and lots of understeer, nothing life theatening, just a bit annoying.. ...The Nissan Sunny is a car which has been absolutely thrashed by the critics and has been given a complete grilling by all kinds of people. I am here to defend it. I own a Sunny and it?s a car which has amazing reliability, is very comfortable and gives a smooth ride. The Production of this car started in 1991 and ended in 1995. The car we own is a 1994 Nissan Sunny Spray 1.4 3 door. We brought it in 1996 at two years old for around seven thousand pounds. The reason for buying was due to our Nissan Micra getting a bit too small for us and the fact we needed just a bit more space. The Sunny seemed like the perfect choice. If you cant get a picture of what the car is like, imagine a 3 door Nissan Almera as the Sunny was replaced by the Almera in 1995. Sunny Coupe is the tops

...I had a F Reg 1998 Nissan Sunny Coupe 1.6 GSX Petrol for 156000 miles across 7 years. This fantastic car needed not a single top up of oil or water for the WHOLE 7 years. Yes, I do mean no leaks AT ALL. The block went rusty because of the non-oil leak protection, as only seen on classics according to the garage who very regularly serviced my car. Regular (6000 mile oil & filter changes) preventative maintenance kept this little rocket on course with the minimum of fuss and expense. The worst consumption I ever had from this car was 32 mpg, the best 56 mpg and 45mpg was my average. 97 bhp isn't a lot today, but this car was very lightweight and could take on the hot hatches of their day with no problem. Nissan Micra

Advantages: The looks and the fuel type is amazing and the insurance group.
Disadvantages: Not that much safety and the comfort.

...Nissan Micra's come in a 1.0 litre hatchback they mostly come in 5 doors or 3 doors. The performance on the road is very nippy, 3/5 also the handling and the ride is quite the same. These Micra's are great insurance group is low fuel is great, on the otherhand the security isnt becuase some micras from 1994-1998 dont have any alarm or anything but ll models have plenty of airbags. The ownership is great buying and selling is easy and no hassle to sell these nippy motors are Quality & reliability many people gave the ownership a 4/5. These 1.0litre micras changed a lot from the 1900's till know there are over 100,000 micras know in the U.K. The looks of a micra is great thats what attracts people to buy these cars. 9/10 people voted that micras are good for first drivers....

Sunshining? then use sunnies!

Advantages: easy to apply, no bottles that leak, quick and easy
Disadvantages: your hands turn white, they are expensive and can tend to dry out

...So, ok we haven't really seen the sunshine yet and our normal summer is over, but i write this just in case the weather forecasters somehow manage to predict correctly that we do get an Indian summer!! My son is your average normal toddler won't keep still for more than five seconds at a time. I'm sure you can imagine the mess we get into if i decide to put suntan cream on him whilst we're down the beach... all the sand is such a distraction to the poor lad and protecting his skin doesn't seem to be at the top of his priorities.
