I'm going to just go ahead and state it right at the beginning - this is some excellent memory. It's fast (800mhz), it has lower timings (4-4-4-12), it's reliable, and it's very cheap. You can pick the 2GB set of two modules up from £35 anywhere now, which is a phenomenally low price. That's really the hallmark of this product - low price, high quality. At the moment, unless you're running games in Windows Vista, there's really no need to have 4GB of memory; even the most demanding game you can run won't use more than 2GB RAM. Ipod shuffle 1GB

Advantages: Easy to use with simple menus
Disadvantages: Perhaps not eneough storage for some

...I was brought one of these ipod shuffle, 1 gb for Christmas. Ｉhave previously owned an ipod nano and have to say that I much prefer the shuffle, I have found it much more easy to use and more easy to attach to my clothing whilst using it in the gym. The battery life lasts ages, at least 7 hours and can be charged up by a wide variety of methods so its very easy to do so whatever the circumstances. It holds approximately 240 songs which is adequate for my needs, and itunes makes it very easy to chop and change the tracks I want on there quickly by connecting to the computer by a usb cable. At 1.62 inches long and weighing half an ounce this tiny ipod is the worlds smallest music player! Although it is so tiny it holds 1GB, which is about 240 songs, which is more than 120 that the old ipod shuffle could hold. The amount of songs that it can exactly hold depends on the size of the song you are uploading to it. If you are uploading bigger files then you will fit less on and vice versa. ...Its nice. Its cheap! (I paid just £25-00 for mine on sale at Argos but even not on sale, still good value). And its an iPod, which does give excellent sound quality, and so far, I've had excellent build quality as well. Its been knocked, dropped, bumped and even sat on, but its still working and showing no signs of wear and tear. I've found battery life is very good, and easy to charge if you have the USB charger (I picked mine up from Ebay at £5-00). I went for the 1GB version, rather than the 512 mb simply because it does afford you more space for songs, but generally I'm not the sort of person who needs more than 200 songs in any one session!
