I'm going to just go ahead and state it right at the beginning - this is some excellent memory. It's fast (800mhz), it has lower timings (4-4-4-12), it's reliable, and it's very cheap. You can pick the 2GB set of two modules up from £35 anywhere now, which is a phenomenally low price. That's really the hallmark of this product - low price, high quality. At the moment, unless you're running games in Windows Vista, there's really no need to have 4GB of memory; even the most demanding game you can run won't use more than 2GB RAM. Ipod shuffle 1GB

Advantages: Easy to use with simple menus
Disadvantages: Perhaps not eneough storage for some

...I was brought one of these ipod shuffle, 1 gb for Christmas. Ｉhave previously owned an ipod nano and have to say that I much prefer the shuffle, I have found it much more easy to use and more easy to attach to my clothing whilst using it in the gym. The battery life lasts ages, at least 7 hours and can be charged up by a wide variety of methods so its very easy to do so whatever the circumstances. It holds approximately 240 songs which is adequate for my needs, and itunes makes it very easy to chop and change the tracks I want on there quickly by connecting to the computer by a usb cable. I thought this was great, I was getting the new phone I wanted with freebies, it was even better because I needed a new Ipod as my previous ones were forever breaking, but to tell the truth I didn't have much hope for the Ipod Shuffle either. At 1.62 inches long and weighing half an ounce this tiny ipod is the worlds smallest music player! Although it is so tiny it holds 1GB, which is about 240 songs, which is more than 120 that the old ipod shuffle could hold. The amount of songs that it can exactly hold depends on the size of the song you are uploading to it. If you are uploading bigger files then you will fit less on and vice versa. OCZ Platinum 2GB Ram

Advantages: Super Fast
Disadvantages: A bit expencive for an average system!

...I purchased the OCZ 2gb (2 x 1gb) Platinum ram when i revamped my PC. What a difference it makes! I have never been able to open so many applications, and switch between them so quickly. The installation was very quick. One complication though. Although the packet does not tell you, the ram runs at 2.2 volts, not 1.8 which computer are default set to. This is because the ram is designed for gaming, and so is more power hungry. If the voltage is not changed the ram will not run as quickly, and there will be no point buying the ram. To adjust the voltage is easy, just enter into the bios settings of the motherboard, buy clicking one of the F buttons while the computer loads up.
