Is the Corsa 1.2 sxi the star buy?

Even though it is only a 1.2 engine, it has sports injectors meaning that the engine is squirted with a little bit extra fuel to give a small kick in acceleration.To keep fuel consumption low, you have to drive the car well below the national speed limit. Certainly not one of the cars strong points. The Corsa 1.2 sxi is insurance group 3, so is fairly cheap to insure. Road tax is relatively cheap too due to low emissions, that's if road tax can be called cheap these days. PERFORMANCE 0-60mph is hit in around 11 seconds with a top speed of around 106mph.   Cosmic Corsa. 1.0 verses 1.2 model

Advantages: Good range of feature. Cheap running costs.
Disadvantages: Very common cars.

Pure Bass. Buy it, play it, love it.

Advantages: Pure Bass, Great look, easy to install, great price.
Disadvantages: Might take some space, need a good amplifier

I was impressed by the performance of the bass test, the only way I can call that is "Pure bass". 800Watt is more than enough, the quality stays unbeaten. Satisfaction guaranteed. From my point of view, you won't need any other subwoofer; this will be a last link to any car's sound system. 4 medium speakers + this subwoofer and a bunch of EQs with an amplifier and your car is a dream of any musician. 2009 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Sxi - NEW SHAPE

Advantages: space, steering, brakes
Disadvantages: boot and not as cool to look at as new fiesta

...My girlfriend and me were given an 09 plate Corsa, when she wrote of her Ford KA (click my name for a review of KA). It was Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 SXi in Silver, it had optional extras like bigger alloys wheels and tinted windows, but it also had a built-in Dashboard screen which I don?t know if is an optional extra or a modification, anyway it was at Pioneer screen which had Sat-Nav, radio controls, phone sync, CD player and if it is an option I would most certainly recommend it. The Corsa was very pleasant to drive, the steering is obviously PAS but it was extremely light, the brakes were excellent, the gearbox was surprisingly pleasant, and the driving position was fantastic. For a Super-Mini it really does feel like a big car, the driving position is slightly elevated and the dashboard is really quite large for a car of this size...

Renault Clio 1.2 (P Reg)

Advantages: Reliable, Spacious, Great MPG.
Disadvantages: Some flimsy minor interior parts, Slightly dated look.

...As a 19 year old student, who had finally had to scrap his 1995 Astra Merit due to it suffering evry problem under the sun from repeated fuel oxygen probe failures to total EMS failures, I had to take any car I could find that I could afford with my part time wages to get me back and forth from Uni. That makes it all the more lucky that I stumbled upon my P reg 1.2 Clio. Used, of course, with 78,000 on the clock and a £750 price tag. After another 12,000 miles driven, it still feels as tight in control as the day it was made. The clutch is sturdy, but not too springy, the brakes are tight but not jerky and the power steering is a blessing compared to my previous car. It starts first try every time (aside from one unfortunate day when my sunroof seal came apart and the cavity that houses the interior light and remote locking...

...This is my first car and i am very impressed. Having learnt to drive in a Clio and liking it a lot, i thought it would be ideal for my first car. However, mine drives totally different from the one i learnt it, but both cars are a lovely, smooth ride and it is a great choice for a first car. 52 reg INSURANCE&TAX This car has cheap insurance, especially for first time drivers. It is in a low insurance band and therefore i would highly recommend it to those who have a low insurance budget. Road tax is also cheap, currently i pay £66 for 6 months which considering the credit crunch, it is not too bad. I have found this a cheap car to run, but it doesnt look cheap and it definately doesnt feel cheap to drive. PETROL CONSUMPTION With this car being a 1.2, it is really good for fuel economy. ...I recently bought the 2002 model Vauxhall Corsa 1.2Sxi, I was attracted to it by the great look, only then did I find out what advantages it actually has. It was priced at £8500, with the choice of 3 years intrest free credit. When I was looking round the showroom I was looking at all differnt types of models like the diesel and the petrol 1.2club etc (6999), but none were a patch on the Sxi. The difference being the interior and power to the engine: The interior on a Club is very standard, everything is platic and cheap looking, it has a radio casette, and even a coloured plastic gearnob, however the Sxi hs a CD player, Twin airbag, central locking, alloy wheels, twin spoiler and fog lamps it also has a great sporty effect on the dashboard ( a metallic grey). ...I currently own a 53 plate Silver Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 SXi, im going to try provide a short and sweet review on the car for any potential buyers. Engine and Performance: Whilst a 1.2 engine may put potential buyers off due to a lack of power, it should be noted that this potential 16v engine is one of the best in its class, boasting one of the best 0-60mph times of 11.6 seconds. Renault Clio 1.2 Dynamique 5dr

...As 'my' first car (im on my dads insurance) we set out looking for a small 1.2 car, having looked at a few other cars we found a second hand Renault Clio Dynamique 5dr in the corner of a forecourt for around £4000, with 21,000 miles on the clock. Having only driven it for 6 months i have yet to find any major problems with it, the brakes take a while to get used to as they are very sensitive however i have found them to be an advantage if you need them in a hurry... (i will add at this point that the ABS works well!!) The inside is very spacious, boasting hight adjustable sports seats, good for short journeys and long one's (3hours practising for a driving test and I had no complaints) as well as A/C some models do come with climate control. Clio 1.2 RN 3 door (1998)

Advantages: Agile, Cheap to run, cmofortable to drive for small car
Disadvantages: A little light to drive

...driving the seats provide a comfortable ride. You have to remember that this is a 1.2 and not a sport machine so with normal driving the seats are up to the job. Driving long distances can be a little uncomfortable through lack of back support in the seats, they are quite soft to sit in. Having said that, I drive the car once or twice a week on a 40 mile trip and it is a calm and comfortable drive. Our Clio came fitted with CD player and steering wheel controls and to my surprise with 4 speakers. Radio / CD quality is always very good with a reasonable sound quality. The must to have is the steering wheel controls, very useful and something that I wish I had on my VW. The standard speedo etc are mounted in front of the driver and are well laid out for easy viewing. One thing I come across being so tall in small cars is that sometimes...
