O2 100 12 month
Advantages: in hindsight- NONE, well free phone I suppose
Disadvantages: poor value, worse service, bad network
...At first this deal looked reasonable and I got it for my wife because some kind soul had broke into her car and nicked her pay as you go mobile.
The plan looked similar to the deal she was getting on O2 pay as you go but there was a free phone so it meant that we wouldnt have to pay out hundreds for a new one
This was the point at which I hastily ordered the phone and it came quickly and everythiing was ok up til here
After comparing the contract tariff to the pay as you go in detial, I realised that the deal was not that good and that the pay as you go package was a lot better value for money. Nevermind I thought, at least the wife got a free phone so in the long run the price would be the same as shelling out for a new phone and staying on pay as you go.
Then we had problems with O2 customer care. They got a bill wrong 4 months ago...

A 12 month contract for sore thumbs!
Advantages: £55+ of services and a free phone for £19 a month
Disadvantages: My previous review on this was confusing!
...This is my experience based from committing to a 12 month contract at www.o2.co.uk. There are many different options, based on a texter or a talker!
Why move to contract?
The main reason I switched to contract was because I wanted a new true tone, camera phone, I wanted bluetooth, radio and everything else flash!
After being with o2 on their payg (pay as you go) package with 300 free texts/300 free WAP minutes for a long time they decided I was worthy. The hardest thing I found was deciding which phone to have, the choice is so varied, and most were free (even the new Samsung D500.)
Which package?
I opted for the 50 package as I very rarely call anyone, finding the crazy frog on my phone telling me I have a text more pleasurable (I know, so sad!) Within this package you get 500, count them, 500, free texts each month. That is...

Focus Monthly Contact Lenses
Advantages: Value for money if used wisely
Disadvantages: If not rinsed well or left in too long can cause discomfort
...Being a short-sighted Myopia sufferer contact lenses seemed like an obvious alternative to spectacles what with constantly losing or breaking them. Contact lenses eradicated this problem! Focus monthly's were the first brand of lenses I ever tried?not too expensive so as a student I could comfortably afford them. I must admit these lenses were quite comfortable?at first but due to the necessity of having to re-use and re-use them they had a tendency to fray round the edges, dry out and slightly deteriorate. If they hadn't been sterilised properly overnight and stored in the correct solution this felt on occasions like putting grit into your eye the following morning.
Focus monthly's are a product of Ciba Vision and retail at most opticians for about ten pounds a month (can be purchased in three month batches if more appropriate...

02 still the best
Advantages: Great contract range, good coverage
Disadvantages: none!
...I think over the years I've probably been on every network that exists so hopefully I've got a pretty good opinion on which is good & which isn't not mentioning any names (T Mobile).
So we might as well start with one of the really big mobile networks & that's Vodafone. The last contract I had was with Vodafone & the only reason I changed was because it ran out & I found a marginally cheaper deal but if I hadn't have found that I would have been more than happy to stay with Vodafone.
The signal strength seems to be great everywhere I go, you've always got at least 3 bars out of 6 at all times, there's no weak areas unless maybe you're going up on the moors or through a tunnel!
The price plans are great, they seem to have something to benefit everyone. They start at £15 a month for an 18 month contract. This includes 0 minutes...

O2. See what you can do (when your phone breaks)
Advantages: Super Value for Money, Quality Free Phones
Disadvantages: Customer Service Rubbish!
...Besides O2 puns, their customer service is no laughing matter (except, of course, if you're the Brighton O2 store, in which case they're all probably having a good chuckle...)
Let me explain to you my experience with this popular network operator:
I decided to change my contract with BT Mobile at the end of 2004. I was paying usually £35-40 a month and not really getting much for my money. I had a great handset, the Nokia 5100 and this was getting a little old-fashioned too. So I had a look around as I was aware network operators were offering superb deals on their online tariffs!
I settled on O2's Online 50 tariff as this was the best deal I could find after searching all over the internet from T-Mobile to Orange, Vodafone to Three, and all the high street retailers: Phones4U, Carphone Warehouse and the like. The O2 tariff...

O2 ONLINE 50
Advantages: more for your money, cheap phones, free itemised billing
Disadvantages: online customer service
...Details:
£19 per month gives you:
?50 X network minutes
?25 free texts
?choice of 50% extra free minutes of 500 texts when u sign up
?free online itemised billing sent to your e-mail address or viewable online
?great choice of phones that are easily cheaper than everywhere else.
As well as this you also get free e-mail and texts through the o2 online web site, and you get to keep your old number for free.
I started this contract in December 04 when my old o2 contract finished. I wanted the new XDA II and o2 online is by far the cheapest place to buy it. On this contract the phone only cost me £99 compared with well over £200 everywhere else that I looked... and I did some shopping around.
Before this contract I was on an o2 contract with the CarphoneWarehouse division of O2 on a similar contract costing about £19 per...

O2 400
Advantages: All the minutes and texts
Disadvantages: Chargable Calls a bit pricey
...calls to another network charged normally at 40p per minute, thats worth another £160.00 so a grand total of £260.00 and the cost of this package only costs
£45.00 per month. can you see the just over £200.00 a month you would save.
The great thing with the package as well is the voicemail is free so no need to waste your free minutes listening to all those voicemails that have been left for you.
So! what about the calls that you need to make that are chargable of what happens if you run out of free minutes, well here is a run down of the call costs.

Specsavers Monthly Disposable Lenses
Advantages: better than glasses
Disadvantages: expensive
...Specsavers Monthly Disposable Lenses
I have been wearing contact lenses on and off now for just over a year and when I had my eye check done at Specsavers I thought it the easy option just to go with them for the monthly deal of them sending me out my lenses by post and then paying each month by direct debit.
I was wearing my glasses mainly for driving and watching the TV but I hated wearing them when I was going out for the night or even a days shopping I would feel self conscious when wearing them. I didn?t wear my glasses all the time so I felt that the monthly option was by far the better choice.
Specsavers take a £10 debit from my account each month and for that price I get sent three sets of lenses three bottles of contact lens solution and a contact lens holder sent to my door every three months. This is...

Constant bleeding for 2 months
Advantages: 12 hour window, no PMT/mood swings
Disadvantages: Constant bleeding
...I started Cerazette 2 months after having my son. Before I got pregnant I was on Femodene (combined pill) but due to the fact I suffer with classic migraines the doctor advised me not to go back on it so Cerazette was prescribed to me.
The first month was fine, I had a period as normal at the end of the month, I then had a few period free days but since then I have been bleeding every day, heavy dark bleeding - not just spotting - for the last 2 months. I have been on it for 3 months, I was trying to last it out for 6 months to see if it improved but I just cannot put up with this bleeding every day. I decided to stop taking it yesterday and I feel so relieved that I have finally made the decision. I may try a different mini pill in a few months time once the bleeding stops and my body is back to normal.
Other than the constant...
