...This hotel has got to be one of the best kept secrets when it comes to staying in Vienna. The city is so compact that it is easy to explore on foot and the family run Hotel Post is one of the most economic places to stay in the central Ring area of Vienna. You are less than 10 minutes walk from the Stefansdom, Kaerntnerstrasse and the Graben and there's a subway (U-Bahn) station - Schwedenplatz...

Renaissance Penta Vienna Hotel
Advantages: Not too near the city centre
Disadvantages: Great value weekend deals and lovely hotel
...definitely have to try the famous Viennese Sacher Torte which is a very rich chocolate cake and world famous in Vienna.
The Borromaeus hotel restaurant features a really good range of local and international dishes with prices about 60-100 Euros for two for dinner including wine and 2 courses.

Advantages: Great Central Location with efficient staff
Disadvantages: Small gym and Spa
...This is a smart and clean hotel in the central part of Vienna. The capital is within walking distance but the hotel is also close to the tram stops making travel even easier. Consider booking via their website or an independent agent, for best prices. Apply for the 'free' Hilton Honours card (rewards available and priority checkin & checkout).
The staff are helpful and nothing is too much...
