Easy to install USB 2.0 PCI card

...I have bought this PCI card a week ago. Reason: I have got a MSI K7T266Pro2 motherboard that only offer USB1.1 ports (1.5Mbytes/s maximum transfer rate). Since I have got devices that uses USB2.0 and without breaking my piggy bank to upgrade my computer, the most economical way is to install a PCI card that offers USB2.0 connections (up to 480Mbits/s or 60Mbytes/s, 40X faster than USB1.1) for 1 internal port and 4 external ports. Before you buy a USB2.0 PCI card, make sure that your motherboard got version 2.2 PCI slots which are USB2.0 compatible. If your motherboard hasn't got version 2.2 PCI slots or higher, don't bother. You need a motherboard upgrade. Also, your operating system needs to be windows 2000 service pack 4 or windows XP which provides appropriate drivers to support USB2.0. Ford Focus 2.0 ESP

Advantages: Great driving, reliable car

...I bought my Ford Focus in June 2006, second hand from Ford with 38,000 miles on the clock. The model I own is a 2.0 ESP facelift, with the revised headlights which include the indicator, revised bumpers with bump strips & revised metal flush skirts. Now, in August 2007 the car is on the brink of hitting 70,000 miles and it literally hasn't missed a beat. The only parts that I have had to replace that are none wear and tear are the thermorstat housing seal (Ford however will try and charge you to replace the whole housing, where infact it is invariably just the rubber seal which perishes), and a n/s/f ball joint due to excessive play when being tested for an MOT, a grand total of about £50 non-expected maintenance. Toyota Celica 2.0 GTI 16V 1993 'K' Reg'

Advantages: Looks fantastic, build quality, good engine.

The Honda Accord, I recon, is one of the best cars to be had from this era and price. This model of Accord is a 2.0 16v multipoint injection, single overhead cam, (operating all the 16 valves), PGM-FI engine. First impressions of the car (depending on what you?ve been used to), can be a bit on the boring looking side. It?s all there, but it?s a bit of a bog standard looking 4 door 5 seater family saloon with all the bits in the right places. Fine for what we?re talking about here , but no style guru, compared with the slick designs of today?s market. 2.0i Ghia - a superb family car

...I had a mk1 Mondeo 2.0i 16V from 1995 to 1997. It was an M registered car which I bought from a Ford dealer for £11,000. I ran this car for 2 years, which doubled the mileage from 30,000 when I bought it, to 60,000 when I sold it - yet I still managed to get £8,750 in p/x from the supplying dealer when I traded it in for my next car - an Escort Cosworth. The car was as tough as nails - I did not spend a single penny on reapirs, the only costs were mot, tyres and servicing. It was the most pleasant car interior I have ever had - the ergonomics were beautifully thought out - every switch where you wanted it, and it had the wooden dash trim, which some people loath, but I think it works really well in the mondeo. ...The BT Home-Hub v2.0 may look chic and stylish in comparison to previous models, but personally I have not noticed any beneficial differences between the v2.0 and the v1.0.
