...This processor is a fairly mid-high spec for core 2 duo range it delivers some great performance for a good price. This cpu can handle a lot of multi-tasking along with playing powerful games. Usually i can run a defragmentation and notice it hardly at all i can play games and play music with no problem it just makes desktop computing so easy. As you may know this is an Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 / 2.66ghz cpu, It has 2 cores on the one chip. it runs with 64-bit architecture which then opens up a whole new world of 64-bit operating systems for tommorows technolodgy...this along with the fact it has 4mb lvl2 cache makes superfast repsonse rates to programs and files i have also noticed that their are not so many "cache misses" to which i expected so this pleases me the most :D The only downside is that i have noticed that core... Advantages: DVD-RW and fantastic razor sharp screen. Good layout.
Disadvantages: No Infra-red, Bluetooth. Lots room to expand.

...I use this processor on the desktop computer at my dad's house. It was the very first processor released in the Intel Pentium D range, and to my knowledge was also the very first dual core processor released by Intel. At the time we baught the computer with this processor it was very new and the technology was up to date, however it is fair to say that unfortunately, as with many first time things in the computing world, it does not always go quite according to plan... SPEED Well, the processor 'runs' at, or rather 'does a gentle jog' at 2.66ghz. This is quite fast however there are much faster processors out there. The major problem is that when you first get it, it runs at lightening speed but it slows dramatically with time. ...First impresions of this PC are, ah.. good, but the case usually plays a large place in the PC we choose. Come on, whose gonna by a pink and orange PC, even if it is the fastest. Cases can be changed but it requires a bit of work and no dought a couple of injuries (insides of case are usually like razor blades. So, let's start on the case. The case looks nice, a midi tower, and the monitor, keyboard and mouse all fit into the sceme quite well. It isn't really a case modders PC. BUT, you gonna have to by them yourselt! They 'aignt included. Thee only really nice point about this PC is its P4 processor, which the again is only 2.66 ghz. I would have rather had a Athlon 3000+ XP and it would have still probably been cheaper. The specs are OK but some of them just fall short of that. The PC only uses an IDE setup with no support... It has trusted platform module security chip embedded security and this makes the security system trusted. It has fantastic operating system software like the Microsoft windows vista business/XP professional downgrade and also it is provided with the security lock slots, administrator pass word and so on. Getting PC like this is not really a bad idea because it has been in full use in my office and has not gotten any problem since functioning. But the thing with the PC is that it is not that easy to install and so needs to read fully on the manual for company's directions and guide.
