Style is achievable!
Review of Vidal Sassoon VS145 by
Tansi53
Advantages: 4 style adaptors and comes complete in a zipped bag.
Disadvantages: Not multi voltage.
...I have owned this product for some while now and use it all the time.
I must confess that I rarely use the attachments other than the thermal brush but having long straight hair (and not very much of it) it's perfect for me. I'm sure the other attachments will be just as useful to other types of hair though.
The bag, appliance and attachments weight about 700 grams which is a consideration when travelling. The 1000 watt styler operates on 230 V~ 50 Hz so cannot be used world wide. (eg. The USA) without a transformer.
It is available from many outlets at around £20.
The bag.
The styler comes in a smart soft, black nylon bag, about 24 x 14 x 12cms, that zip fastens and has a carrying handle at the top. All the parts fit in this bag easily with space for a comb or small brush and maybe a small hairspray. (I use this bag...

Poker straight and completely gorgeous!
Review of ME2 extreme ceramic straighteners by
missie123
Advantages: Brilliant results, great value, quick and easy to use
Disadvantages: split ends if you're not careful
...too. It is completely black except for the logos. They are 26cm long, 3cm wide and 3.5cm thick with the two irons pushed together. The cord is over 2m long, which is great for me as I have no mirrors near plug sockets! Both outside edges of the straighteners has “…extreme” in the pink me2 font and one side has a red LED, which lights when the straighteners are on and begins to flash when they are up to temperature. On the inside edges you will find the on/off switch and the temperature control, plus a sticker with all the electrical info on. The model I own is YJ-3001 (I think all me2 stik extremes are this model), it is for use with 230V, 50Hz and power consumption 40W.

What they claim to do
·be a professional straightener
·heats to 210 degrees in 6 seconds
·have variable heat...

2 Years Plus…
The UPS is still going strong, very few have problems, and a warranty checker is available at http://www.apc.com if you have any problems.
The only thing that does seem to show up about the two-year mark is the battery. Many of the UPS’s we have need the battery changing in about year 2 to 3. Having said that, 2 to 3 years is not bad for battery life! I can cope with that.
New batteries from APC can be on the expensive side (Around £35+VAT), but non...

GOING STRAIGHT
Review of Hairtools Ceramic Straighteners by
Mayhall
Advantages: Gives hair a new lease of life.
Disadvantages: Lead could be longer.
...’s shops as they often have them in their window display. Tesco had one Nicky Clarke one for £19.99. (The one I bought) and another Nicky Clarke one for £34.99 This had extra plates to it to give a deep weave effect and was faster to heat up.
The cardboard box my purchase was contained in is very informative, 13 in long showing a picture of the hair straightner with its professional style matt black finish and Nicky Clarke logo. There are seven silver circles edged in black which say what the straightner comes with. Top left is an illustration of the bristle brush, in the top right corner is a photo of Nicky Clarke and bottom left is a picture of the ‘Secrets of Straightening Guide’ Elsewhere on the box you are given the model number, the fact that it runs on 230V – 50Hz – 22W, the address, telephone...
