I must confess that I rarely use the attachments other than the thermal brush but having long straight hair (and not very much of it) it's perfect for me. I'm sure the other attachments will be just as useful to other types of hair though. The bag, appliance and attachments weight about 700 grams which is a consideration when travelling. The cord is over 2m long, which is great for me as I have no mirrors near plug sockets! Both outside edges of the straighteners has “…extreme” in the pink me2 font and one side has a red LED, which lights when the straighteners are on and begins to flash when they are up to temperature. (The one I bought) and another Nicky Clarke one for £34.99 This had extra plates to it to give a deep weave effect and was faster to heat up.
