dyson dc24 not as good as i would have thought

Advantages: small, good for small spaces, easy to store
Disadvantages: suction not up to par

...I purchased this dyson having owned a dyson for many years, and then my new puppy decided to chew any chewable parts that it had, so opted to buy a new one. Now initially my mum had went and bought me a miele hoover, which was not an upright or bagless but the suction is apparantly superior, but i prefer an upright and when i tried to vacuum my rugs with the miele, i decided an upright would be the less physically demanding cleaner for me, which is always important to a busy mum and housewife. I searched the net and found one on cdiscount for £179.99 which was on offer at the time, so i went ahead and bought it and looked forward to receiving it. I chose this one instead of the dc24 as i have a lot of stairs in my house and the smaller size appealled to me as not being as heavy as a larger one, would be easier to take around...

Dyson DC24 Vacuum

Advantages: lightweight, small, ease of use

...I love this vacuum!!! Its so light, compact and really easy to use even my husband can use it!! I have already got a dyson vac but needed to replace it due to it being old and bits starting to drop off (sounds a bit like its owner really!) I saw this on a preview and really liked it. It is only 3/4 size of a ordinary vac as the handle collapses inside itself. It is very easy to use as you just twist the handle to steer the vaccum on its ball rather than vaccing backwards and forwards. The beater bar can be switched off with a button on the front of the vacuum when using the attached tools. Even if this vac is 3/4 size, it does just as good a job as a full size one. The dustbin is only small and requires more frequent emptying but this is not a problem. Stairs are easy to do as the power lead is quite long and the vacuum very...

24 hour moisture I will live without

Advantages: Quick drying, does in fact moisturise, nice smell
Disadvantages: Runny lotion that leaves a slightly sticky feeling

...I am a fan of Johnson's products but am afraid this just isn't the best one I've tried. I do have a tendency to have quite a collection of moisturises, lotions and potions at any one time. I don't have particularly dry skin, but it is quite sensitive which makes me picky about what I put on it. Often, I see something recommended in a magazine and it winds up taking space in my bathroom. Perhaps it's time to clear out some space or this bottle of lotion may outlive me! As shown in the picture above Johnson's 24hour Moisture Extra-Rich Body Lotion comes in a pink bottle with a flat flip lid. This design is great for lotions that need to be stored upside down in order to get the remaining goodness out of the bottom. When mini trailers of hour 1 went around sky, i tried to switch over every time but to no avail, i caught something and i was hooked in. Normally id prefer to watch the episodes on dvd so i can watch as many as i like but my girlfriend at the time had sky plus so she recorded the whole series. After getting through 9 hours of it we broke up, not anything to do with 24 don' worry, therefore i had seen nearly half of the series and then had to wait for the dvd release to continue watching. Only once have i done this, never again. Wait for the dvd, its worth it. I used ZiPhone to unlock mine from AT&T in the US for use in Ireland. Out of the box the iPhone is intruative (It has to be as a Manual is not included in the box). The box included a small quick start guide, a headset and the various connectors. Set up with iTune is a breeze even for a newbie. The Home Screen on the iPhone differs from most WIndows based Smart devices as a simple press closes the running program down. I own a HTC Touch aswell and found it much easier to upgrade and customise than the iPhone. Its secondary use is a phone. . small things like not being able to send MMS and even forward any text messages you have received are simple things Apple could have put into the iPhone. Also the iPhone has NO video camera function???? It does crash sometimes which is very annoying especially when on a phonecall. Also have you ever written a text only to press the send button and realise your sending it to the wrong person. . most phones have a cancel option. . but NOT the iPhone!!! The battery lasts the most I found 24 hours thats with normal usage ie iPod for around 2hours a day and maybe an hours talktime.
