Sony Ericsson T280i: Simply Great Features at a Great Price

Advantages: Good value for money, reliable, plenty of extra features
Disadvantages: Picture messaging doesn't work on O2, only 10MB (non-expandable) memory

...Last week I bought myself a Sony Ericsson T280i (to replace my 6 year-old T610) for £19.10 at the Carphone Warehouse. Not that I'm plugging them, but this was a really good bargain, as I already had an 02 sim card I didn't need to pay the extra £10 top-up fee, so if anyone is in-store try to find a friendly assistant who will deal with this for you and save you a bit of money, because I don't believe you can do this ordering online. Right, down to the phone. I was lucky enough that they had the pink and silver version in stock (much prettier, I think, than the black & grey), and apparently these phones come already unlocked, though I haven't yet tried it with another sim (personally I have no need to at the moment). Kodak DC 280 Superb

Advantages: Easy to use, superb quality pictures
Disadvantages: spare set of charged batteries need to be carried.

...I purchased a Kodak DC 280 camera in June and have found it to be easy to use and capable of producing excellent pictures. Anyone would be able to use it very quickly. The only criticisms have been stated as 'heavy on batteries' and 'heavy to hold' whilst this is true, the latter is, I think, an advantage; it is much easier to hold the camera still which is essential when taking indoor pictures without flash. It also seems more substantial and well made that feather-light cameras. It is heavy on batteries if you use the viewing window and forget to turn it off. But I feel the batteries do last a fair time. They charge quite quickly but it would be an advantage to carry a spare set. My camera came with 8 MB card (which only holds 12 pictures at best quality) but it is possible to purchase cards at double this capacity...

Kodac 280 - Well, I like it

Advantages: Easy to use and cheap
Disadvantages: bit bulky

...I was after a decent camera, which offered good quality pictures at an affordable price. I was attracted to the DC280 not just because of the good pictures you could take with it, but it also came with battery charger and USB leads. There are many features available with the camera, the main one I like is the digital zoom, and a few fun features, like being able to put frames on the pictures before you download them. For the money I paid for this camera, £350 I think, it is a damn good camera, and would recommend it to anyone. It’s very easy to use, ideal for a beginner, but the quality is excellent, good for a pro....

Kodak 280 Now we are cooking with gas

Advantages: Superb photo quality and very easy to use and setup
Disadvantages: Advanced technology which naturally is fragile an for peace of mind you really need to take out an extended warranty

...As mentioned in my comments about the Kodak 240, I upgraded to the 280 which has some extra features that the 240 does not have and is 2megapixel picture quality (1760x1168 pixels) captures all the detail you need for photo-realistic pictures with unbelievable detail, colour and shapness, produces 8x10 pictures, as opposed to the 240's 1.3megapixel which only produces a 5x7 picture. The software supplied with the 280 is again superior to that of the 240 and the photo quality is as good, as a photo taken on a normal camera. Again the camera comes with a 8Mb Compactflash card and everything is supplied to get you up and running i.e. cables for downloading pictures to your printer or computer and rechargeable batteries and the battery charger and I almost forgot there is also a lead to allow you to plug the camera staight to your TV...

Sansa e280- cheaper alternative to the iPod?

Advantages: Size, 8GB memory, great menu system, EQ, Photo function, music sorting
Disadvantages: Video quality, album art function is lacking

...The Sansa e280 is a fantastic little MP3 player on first impressions. The player is stylish, and has a fantastic menu layout. However I must get the small amount of flaws out of the way first; the videos lack quality and are fuzzy, so if you want this especially for videos, maybe look at a Creative or an iPod. Also, album art is a bit tricky to add, which may be my computer's problem but I've seen other people online have a problem with it too. Apart from that, this product is superb. With it's 8GB of memory, a large music library can be added to it and taken around stylishly. Also, it has a nice photo function, and the photos look very high quality. All in all, it's a fantastic MP3 player in my opinion, just some niggling things that don't make it as fully accomplished as an iPod. But if you are looking for a cheaper alternative, go...

Advantages: Easy to use and producing quality pictures.
Disadvantages: A little heavy

...My purchase of a Kodak DC280 was more by accident than design. I purchased online from Simply Computers. I have not had cause to regret my 'buy'. It is a little on the heavy side but this imparts a feeling of solid workmanship. In use it has been marvellous, producing excellent pictures for my website as well as snaps for the family album. The controls are simplicity itself and make for rapid adjustments as and when needed. I have not used the parallel interface and therefore cannot say whether this is good or not but the USB connection is first rate - I can access the files on the camera just as quickly as I can access files off my hard disk. I would have no qualms recomending this camera. In it's price range it will take some beating....

My Car - Mercedes E280 T Estate

Advantages: Smooth Drive, Service Warranty excellent, Comfortable and the engineering is top notch
Disadvantages: Interior a bit plain

...a Mercedes second hand and have run it into the ground over the past three years, without any problems at all. I then managed to get hold of the Mercedes E280 T Estate and it is a fantastic car. The German manufacturing process is unrivalled. The fuel consumption is roughly 40 MPG. The ride is smooth and the car is spacious enough to get a double bed in, which I have done. It is also great for dogs in the back which we have 2, and they are contented to just sit and look out of the windows whilst travelling with space to move around. The vision is great all around and the car is powerful to get you away from the lights without being left behind in a cloud of smoke. Sharp PC-A280 Ultralight Notebook PC

Advantages: Sleek, Light, Thin, Great Screen, Fast processor, Plently of memory, large hard drive, and cleverly designed floppy disk drive/port replica.
Disadvantages: No cooling fan; often overheats.

...I was shopping for a notebook in Singapore when a store clerk introduced me to the Sharp PC-A280. I quickly fell in love with this cool silver notebook instantly, and I am still using it now. The notebook itself is a miracle of technology. It is light and thin, and it is reliable. This screen is one of the brightest and most even lit of the notebooks I've used. I upgraded the A-280 to 128 mbs of ram and the A-280 works faster than ever. The keyboard is wonderfully springy and the touchpad is very responsive. The only problem is that the A-280 constantly overheats. Otherwise, it is pratically perfect. I would highly recommened it to any road warrior....
