I'm going to just go ahead and state it right at the beginning - this is some excellent memory. It's fast (800mhz), it has lower timings (4-4-4-12), it's reliable, and it's very cheap. You can pick the 2GB set of two modules up from £35 anywhere now, which is a phenomenally low price. That's really the hallmark of this product - low price, high quality. At the moment, unless you're running games in Windows Vista, there's really no need to have 4GB of memory; even the most demanding game you can run won't use more than 2GB RAM. GeIL Value Dual Channel 2 GB DDR SDRAM

...well when i bought my new rig 5 months ago i spent a small fortune on the graphics card so started looking for some good priced and branded ram with good timings i stumbled upon the geil ram and it looked perfect i purchased the GeIL Value Dual Channel 2 GB DDR SDRAM kit and i now run itin my new box on an asus a8r-mvp motherboard with a 3.5 64 bit chip in it. my rig is mainly used for gaming hence the need for a good graphics card and good ram this ram has performed very well in both dual and single channel mode currently i am running it in dual channel mode and combined with the rest of the pc i can run battlefiled 2 at max settings with no lag and still achieve 90 fps overall for the money you cannot go wrong with this ram the heatsinks on it look good and do work well....

OCZ Platinum 2GB Ram

Advantages: Super Fast
Disadvantages: A bit expencive for an average system!

...I purchased the OCZ 2gb (2 x 1gb) Platinum ram when i revamped my PC. What a difference it makes! I have never been able to open so many applications, and switch between them so quickly. The installation was very quick. One complication though. Although the packet does not tell you, the ram runs at 2.2 volts, not 1.8 which computer are default set to. This is because the ram is designed for gaming, and so is more power hungry. If the voltage is not changed the ram will not run as quickly, and there will be no point buying the ram. To adjust the voltage is easy, just enter into the bios settings of the motherboard, buy clicking one of the F buttons while the computer loads up. ...Snazzy little device, very lightweight and does'nt take up much space wherever you put it, as it has a clip on the back you can attatch it to almost anything, so you wont have to worry about it taking up space in your pocket, the clip also comes in handy for people who like listening to music while jogging, cycling etc. as you wont have to worry about it falling out your pocket. Apple IPod Nano 2GB

...I like listening to music on the go and have owned the first generation IPod Nano 2GB in black for over two years and have found it to be a brilliant piece of audio equipment that has taken away the need for a bulky stereo in my flat and lots of CDs in my car. I paid only £60 for my second hand Nano and I consider this to be something of a real steal, however the extras such as a protective jacket, docking station and cable for my car stereo really bumped up the outlay.
