When you purchase the sony 2GB micro vault you will find a file compressor and decompressor ready installed on the memory stick. ...This USB memory stick is definately a good purchase. I bought mine from amzon in autumn 2006 for £19 from amazon. This was a bargain, but now they have dropped below £10, so are definately a bargain for anybody. The stick is small in size and has an attractive green design, with a matching green LED status light. The 2GB (actually 1.86GB) memory provides ample storage space. There is also an attractive metal faceplate on the reverse side. The package includes a small string to attach to a key chain, although no lanyard or keychain. In terms of hardware performance the USB stick is very reliable and consistent. However, it has a consistently low transfer speed that mirrors the low price.
