..., I would recommend an upgrade - the difference is noticeable in shutter time and acquire time. The 7.2mp is also top of the class - it produces pictures approx 5metres x 5metres if you scale to 100% (almost billboard size!) and lets you magnify any little bit of the picture up to a printable size.

As with the A100, there is a macro mode, which means you can take very close up pictures. The A300 min ' distance from the lense is 2" to 7.9" ( got some great shots in this mode !)
These options are explained fully in the supplied instructions.It's a good idea to read fully , but how many of us do ?, untill we come across a problem. Good thing is ...this is easy to use.

The camera comes supplied with 2 dry cell alkaline batteries ( these wont last long !) instruction booklet, software drivers, cannon zoom browser photo editing suite, 16 meg compact flash card, ( good for about 10 shots in high res mode ) I recon 32meg should be your mimimum for this type 3.2mp camera, a USB cable, and boo hoo , no protective carry case, but for about a tenner you can find one to fit it snugly...

Review of Canon PowerShot A300
Advantages: Good Camera, Fast WiFi, 30FPS Videos Disadvantages: Bulky, Limited-life battery
...are able to use Wireless internet, using phones. It works fast on mine, allowing broadband download speeds and is a much cheaper option than WAP - Only 50p a day for hotspots.
The Screen and Video Quality are amazing. Shooting at 30FPS does virtually eliminate the need for the conventional Camcorder. Sound also records at Stereo which is very desirable.
Games are also a huge compliment of the phone. Snake, the bundled game, is in 3D fantastic realistic graphics! It certainly entertains when you are commuting to work.
Talking of entertainment, i often use the MP3 player and a 2GB Memory card to listen to all my favorite songs. The Loudspeaker quality is not great but Stereo! I also linked TomTom software to the phone onto my memory card and now i can navigate, listen to music, call, play games and take photos ALL IN ONE!

For the rest of you, tell your friends, who fit the above description all about this product. They will most definitely buy you a pint for this one.
We had a car with a cd player and used cd's regularly. We used to say on many many many occasions why o why do stereo manufacturers not put jack plugs\or USB on the front so we could listen to all our music.
After all if they had jack plugs then you could just plug in your MP3 player in. Access to 5000 songs, your favourite playlists .
Anyway we unfortunately wrote off our Honda accord car just before Christmas and had to buy a new one. We bought another second hand Honda, which I will review after we have lived...

many years ago i bought a 1.3Mp Olympus C-1 which was very good but lacked optical zoom so when i decided to look for a new digi cam it had to be another olympus not being a avid photography fan i just needed somthing to take a few pics with so masses of features and silly price tags wern't needed
wondering arround tescos one day i stumbled apon this neat little camera on a display stand with a few others but this little olympus had everything i wanted 3x optical zoom and 3x digital and was less than £100 !
3.2 mega pixels but if used on its maximum setting will intoploate to 4 Mp this however isn't needed

Main features like 3G, Wi-fi, Bluetooth, easy sync, e-mail, sms, imaging, video recording, ms office and many more attracts every one. But the 2MP is somwhat disappointing as compared to Nokia N96's Carl Zeis' 5MP. Another disadvantage is its delicacy. I think in the next edition Apple may think about these disadvantages rectified.
It is just like a laptop in hand I feel.
I strongly suggest to any one to get this product. Very nice and good too....

BAD POINTS
no proper bluetooth, which can be annoying when with mates
camera is appauling, no flash, close up, 2mp, no video capture worse than my v3x i am supprised at that
external speaaker is rubbish, if your volume is at 50% + it will crackle like mad, plus theres just one
battery life is poor, no wonder theres no 3g antenna, but this is the same for n95 nokia etc, the main problem is the inability to replace, that 18mnth contract not so good??
youll need a headphone adapter for any normal headphones as the jack is recessed

worth it unlocked, not really if its locked,
try it out first

Advantages: Amazing Sound, extremely fast internet, cool touchscreen,good battery life, affordable, mobile tv Disadvantages: not too great on the camera, and has the uncanny ability to capture full attention of the user.
...accommodates all types of users - starting from the novice ones who want to use the stylus to the more advanced users who can just use the tip of their fingers to type really fast. Personally I think the only thing that lets it down, is the 3.2MP camera. But I guess Nokia preferred to focus on the other aspects, as this device was not really intended to cater to the imaging community. I think that all these features make it one of the few ideal touch screen phones on the market at the moment, and probable the most affordable and durable ones. In my opinion, Nokia has created a true benchmark touch screen phone with the Nokia 5800. Just pump up the volume ...... !...
