Bose Sound Dock (2nd Generation)
Advantages: Incredible sound from such a small unit, good build quality
Disadvantages: Price
...I bought this unit in November this year. There are two models, the original sound dock which I think is about £199 and the second generation one (the one I bought) which was £279 from John Lewis. The second generation one is basically the same as the first except:
a) it has a rechargeable battery
b) it has a swing out dock
c) it has an auxiliary (3.5mm) jack input
If you just want a basic model, then go for the first gen one. I got the second gen one because I thought the battery was a useful addition as is the auxiliary 3.5mm input - I have mine connected to an apple airport express that streams itunes from my laptop to my bedroom although I have used it in a friends house with my ipod too.
The sound quality is good for its size which is about the same as a hardback book and it weighs in at about 1 kilo. You can take...

Apple iPod Touch 8 GB 2nd Generation
Advantages: good price, durable
Disadvantages: low battery capacity
...The iPod Touch 2nd Gen 8gb is an all round useful piece of equipment, from listening to music, to surfing the net, with useful apps, it makes a great gift. it also has built in speakers you do not need to carry the headphones if you dont want to. it also has a very reasonable price and is very compact so you can take it anywhere . the only disadvantages that i have seen is the sliding bars (e.g. brightness) are very hard to move and the battery doesnt last for very long. a good point about it is thawt the screen is virtualy impossible to scratch. The bottom line is the second-generation iPod Touch includes features that are light-years ahead of the competition, its design has improved, and its price has finally come down to earth....

Apple iPod Touch 32 GB 2nd Generation
Advantages: has good quality sound, touch screen, ease to manipulate
Disadvantages: maybe difficult to access all features for some begginers.
...I saw a friend using the Apple iPod Touch 32 GB 2nd Generation and i immediately fell in love with it just from first sight. When i decided to purchase mind, i noticed what i bought was thinner, had a bigger storage of 32GB, an internal speaker, the touch screen feature is wonderful and 3D graphics. This was so amazing and i now know why my friend never walked around without nodding his head. there is something about this ipod which is the sound quality that comes out of the built in speakers. With this, you even don't need to worry yourself about headphones if yours gets bad or missing. The only problem is that you cant play it in a noise free environment like a public library because of its noise. It is somehow looking like an Iphone and its design in unique to its model and that makes it a good for good player. I love this Ipod and i...

2nd Chance - James Patterson
Advantages: Great Read
Disadvantages: None
...Wow... this was the first book I had read by James Patterson. It was leant to me by a friend and I must admit at first I wasn't too keen, as at this point I had never heard of James Patterson, or any of his work, and to be honest didn't really have that much time to read. However, to be polite I took the booking promising to give it back as soon as I had finished (which under normal circumstances would probably be weeks).
I started the book one rainy Sunday afternoon, you know the drill, nothing on TV, nowehere to go...um I'll read a book! I'd finshed it by the evening!
2nd Chance
2nd chance is the second book in the Womens Murder Club series ( I know this now, but didn't back then - infact I'm currently reading 8th confession, which is... you've guessed it the 8th book the Womens Murder Club).
Our main character is Lindsey...

2nd Shuffle
Advantages: Long battery life, cute & stylish, affordable
Disadvantages: no built in USB connector
...Product: APPLE IPOD SHUFFLE 2nd generation
An Apple ipod cost a lot especially the latest one. And I'm glad to have an apple ipod shuffle that won't hurt my pocket. I practically have it with me when I'm travelling, working out and doing household chores. It's like a good company who make me feel relax while listening to my favourite music.
SHUFFLE
First iPod that has a USB dock included. The dock fits into the earphone jack of the iPod and ends in a USB cable. This ipod shuffle is very cute and tiny but were able to store more than 500 music. One of the strong features of shuffle 2nd generation is the battery life that last as long as 12 hours which is great. There's a tiny light on top of the ipod which will inform you of the charge level. If it's green then it has a lot of battery life, amber means you are running low...

Consider it's genre, it tops
Advantages: Almost all
Disadvantages: It might put you off, read the review
...matter, any iPods, almost one hundred percent dependency on iTunes for synchronization of the music. It?s exactly this particular basic drawback that has put me right off from buying an iPod even if it?s the celebrated Apple iPod Touch 16 GB (2nd Generation).
I agree 200% that it?s the best available dedicated media player. Excellent looks, slick layout, great in fact unmatchable software options, even great audio quality, yet it has failed to impress me at an aspect which matters, at least to me, most. The frequency is very flat meaning thereby, it does not emphasize on any group of frequencies, add very little noise, cross talk is perfect but it?s out put power is low, which naturally gives massive problems with big headphones that could have lower ceiling on their maximum volume potential which is a disadvantage. I don?t know the reason...

Apple iPod Touch Second Generation 32 GB
Advantages: All the features of an iPod plus more; Internet Access; Reliable; Quality
Disadvantages: Can be slow on start up / shut down.
...The second generation iPod touch is somehow even better than the first.
It does do that typical apple slow turn-on/off as soon as you have loaded any files onto the hard drive but you can live with this. And since this is the only thing that annoys me about it, it truly is a good buy for the price.
On to the many advantages:
- It maintains the typical iPod look and features that would be expected from an iPod;
- The new version is sleeker and comes with the most recent software - allowing games to be downloaded and used off line - unlike the webapps of the first generation.
- The display is a good size and the fact that it can be viewed both horizontally and vertically allows for ease of use and good viewing.
- I have had no problems and as mentioned the only negative is the slow start up!
Overall very good for the price.

The book is told from their points of view, as well as the killers, and centres mainly on Lindsay Boxer, the only woman detective in San Francisco.
