...I am a happy member of the O2 community and have been for a number of years. In January this year I thought I would treat myself to a new phone (belated xmas pressie to me!) and stray away from my usual Nokia make and be a bit more loyal to the O2 company. We were up in Lincoln visiting relatives and there was an O2 store within the shopping centre and I saw this O2 X2 mobile phone and instantly fell in love with it. What first attracted me to it was the fact that it was a flip phone (I had never before had a flip phone) and that the front of the phone was made up of a mirror (perfect for checking the lippie). Both me and my boyfriend decided to buy one that day and I rather wish we hadn't. Asus P5VD2-X

Advantages: Quite Cheap and Supporting Nowadays' Tech.
Disadvantages: Not Found, yet

O2 X2 - The best things come in small packages??

Advantages: Small, Stylish Design, Good Sounds, Some good features
Disadvantages: Poor Camera quality, lack of accessories, ringtones etc

...I bought the O2 X2 last year (October 2004) for £129.99 at The Link in my local town. I wanted a clamshell design phone with a few features that was small as I am quite small myself! The O2 X3, a wonderful change from a Nokia.

Advantages: Small, sleek, stylish. Good camera, lots of features. Unusual.
Disadvantages: Scratches fairly easily. Text input can be slow.

Inexpensive High-End performance Processor Phenom II X4 940

Advantages: Low Price, High Performance, High overlock capability

Disadvantages: very slow to use, easily damaged, not much memory, bad camera quality.

o2 X1 - Don't bother!

Advantages: Looks good, good size, light, charges quickly
Disadvantages: Bad predictive text, no snooze on alarm, no silent mode

...I wish I'd read these reviews before i'd ordered this phone because I wouldn't have bothered! I was looking for a new (free) phone on o2 and my requirements were a silver flip phone with colour screen, camera and polyphonic ringtones. The o2 X1 gives me these features, however, it misses out a lot of other features that I'd taken for granted with previous phones. The main problems with this phone were the predictive text is very slow which usually means you end up typing half your message in nonsense. You can't go back and easily edit words either like on Nokia phones, you have to delete the entire word and type it again. The dictionary is quite limited compared to other brands and it seems to not remember words you type in in ABC mode but does remember nonesense words you type by accident which is highly annoying.
