...Unlike other optical wireless Mice that require batteries, this mouse does not, it charges whilst you are not using it. It ahs its own cradle, so it charges via the computers? USB slot, saving you money on batteries. I brought this mouse after looking for an optical mouse that actually works, and properly. It was around £29.99; I brought it from Amazon in the end as it was easier to buy from there. Looking at other optical mice made me think, have I made the right decision? Well, fortunately, I had. I just plugged the mouse straight inot the computers? USB slot and I worked. There was an extra cd for drivers, needed by older operating systems and hardware; this cd contained also some software for the extra buttons, like the scroller. Wireless mouse and keyboard from Microsoft

Advantages: Easy to install and responsive
Disadvantages: No Caps Lock key and the mouse wheel slightly hard to control

.... The packaging notes that the product is compatible with Windows 7, and also with Windows Vista and Windows XP. The Argos packaging came with a note saying that it came with a Microsoft two year guarantee, which I imagine is provided to all customers regardless of which retailer they purchase it from. The mouse has three buttons and three scroll wheels, and the buttons are programmable, so it's also handy that it's suitable for left or right handed people and seems to be quite robust. The mouse moved effortlessly with no sticking and no slow response times, which is the main requirement I could have with a wireless mouse. The only fault I've really found with the mouse is that it sometimes seems to scroll down the screen rather faster than I'd like, so I'm not always in control, but this isn't a major issue. A practical and user friendly wireless mouse from Logitech

Disadvantages: Remembering to use it the right way up and switch it on!

...Whilst I have owned a laptop for over twelve months I still haven't become accustomed to using the touch pad as opposed to a mouse. Consequently, my laptop hasn't been as portable as it should have been due to a wired mouse being plugged into the USB port. Moving the machine from one room to another was often problematic, as the mouse would fall off the keyboard and subsequently clunk to the floor.
