Advantages: Lots of space for files, good video and sound quality, easy to use, great design
Disadvantages: The longer you have it the quicker and more charging it needs, can sometimes freeze and need reset

...I am a person who likes variety, and listening to music when walking. When I had my portable cd player, I got annoyed whenever it jogged by the slightest bump and having to lug around several cds so I could change the music when I wanted. That's why I'm so grateful for the iPod. It has a smart, simple and stylish design. It is easy to use and can probably be easily used by most people. It is small but not too small, so it can fit into most pockets or handbags but not be easily lost. The video display is sharp and clear, watching videos on the iPod is always a delight. Advantages: Clear colour, sound quality high, prices dropped from old version
Disadvantages: screen scratches, exterior scratches.

...is excellent because it came with a free screen protector. You only get a USB charger also. If you wish to charge on the go in a wall or in the car then you will need to buy another charger. Also the computer needs to be on for it to charge. OTHER The battery life lasts through at least two films I have found and then some. It is very good considering the screen is brighter than the old version yet the battery lasts longer. A tip to save battery is to have the backlight off when not needed! The headphones are Apple's new and improved. They offer better comfort, sound quality and noise canceling. They work very well and yes they are comfortable. Archos 604 WIFI 30GB

Advantages: Great video playback and hard drive space
Disadvantages: Won't sync with iTunes, battery life isn't great

...Being a movie fan I enjoy watching films on the go and after becoming bored with the annoyingly small screen on the iPod Video, I decided to purchase one of these just after they came out. So far I am very pleased with the video playback performance due it having a nice, big, high resolution touch screen. Also after buying and downloading some plug ins from the Archos website I can watch a huge range of file formats on it. (Slightly annoying that I had to pay for them but hey.) Also there is plently of room for films and music on the 30GB although it would have been nice to see a slightly bigger hard drive option. On the music side of things, the archos is not iTunes compatible and so music syncing cannot be made automatic - you have to manually drag and drop all your new songs into the music folder on the Archos. Advantages: GOOD PICTURE QUALITY, BIG SPACE
Disadvantages: Easily sctrached and freezes up sometimes!

...Great Product, i have had mine for about a year and find it very good! Easily transfer songs via itunes then listen to them on the go without any problems! Only disadvantages that i can think of is that it can get scratched very easily, and that some times it freezes up! But definetly worth buying and i would recommend people to buy it! 30gb is alot of space that would not easily be used up! Creative Zen Vision M 30GB

Advantages: Sound Quality, Photo and Video Features
Disadvantages: No charger

...I bought this as a replacement for my old Creative Zen 20GB Micro which died on me. I chose Creative again as I prefer Creative Zen's to IPod's for their functionality and music options ie they will accept MP3s, WMAs, AACs etc meaning you have more variety of where you get your music from. I love the look of this MP3 player with its blue lights and high resolution LCD screen. Other people might think it is slightly chunky compared to other models but that's never been a problem for me. I think it's yummy! Most of the features are the same as my previous Zen except of course this one is a 30GB (WOOHOO!) and you can download photos and videos to view on the extremely good high resolution LCD screen which is a nice viewing size. If you put the lock on MP3 player so that the screen is not used but the music still plays...

...First of all lets just say, what a great product. Now that iPods have the ability to store videos and photos aswell as the standard music the 30GB harddrive memory really comes in handy and gives plenty of room for a nice selection of each. The battery life was said to be 14hours for music on this item but to be honest I would have to say it would be nearer 8-9hours which as im sure you'll agree is a significant difference. The design is as before stylish and again as before the scrolling wheel makes searching through your library much easier. Syncing your iPod couldn't be more simple, just install itunes and your away however I have found that some of my videos wont upload onto my iPod despite being in the iTunes library. Also the automatic upload of any new songs really helps those of us who aren't completely clued up on technology...
