...I'm not overly fussed with some of the technical aspects of televisions, I don't even understand most of it so I'll do my best not to bore anyone with these during my review. As long as I can plug in my dvd player, my sky box and my nintendo wii with no problems I'm a happy bunny. I agree, Bush might not be a market leader when it comes to televisions (or anything for that matter) but this one looked nice. I bought this television almost two years ago to use as the main house tv. It sits proudly in the corner of my living room with the matching glass tv stand. Both were bought from Sainsburys. The TV itself was on sale and I managed to get it for under two-hundred pounds. Which is an absolute steal. The cheapest I can find it for at the moment is around the £300 mark. Let's sing the praises of Samsung LCD TV

Advantages: Saves space, good picture, built in freeview
Disadvantages: HD broadcasts not out yet, need a HD ready DVD player too

...apparent thiness. I particularly like the Samsung as it is framed in black ( see picture above ) and I think this gives it a sleek, stylish look. My boss informed me once ( he is full of pearls of wisdom) that a LCD tv is equally popular with husbands and wives. His reasoning is that men like all the gadgets that come with it ( and there are many like picture in picture, different screen sizes etc) while women like the extra space it affords the sitting room. To be honest I like the extra space it affords our room. Furthermore as a parent I'm glad that neither of my sons can lick the television screens any more when their favourite characters come on ( the things they learn from their mother!). It also means they have to watch the television from a certain distance which is obvouisly benefical to their mince pies! *** Spot the Difference...

Murphy TV32RN20D Digital LCD Television

Advantages: Easy to set up and use and has great picture and sound quality
Disadvantages: No Sky remote code assigned as yet

...I have just bought this Murphy 32" HD Digital tv. It was a big jump for me from my 5 year old analogue tv to this high tech digital one. I chose this tv over others on the market as it's specification is the same as some other more well known brands but the price was more competitive. It was really easy to set up, you just plug it in and it tunes itself in to all the terrestrial and freeview channels. The picture and sound quality are amazing and the remote control is easy to use. The tv has a tv guide at the click of a button to allow you to view what is on all the channels for the night. It also has the option to change the screen size to suit what you are watching. A fabulous purchase....

BUSH 27" WIDESCREEN LCD TV

...end of line 27" widescreen lcd flat television and just had to buy it. The only trouble was, that being end of line meant that you could not order it for delivery, so I did a search of all my local stores until I found one and we reserved it for collection the next day. My husband came home with the tv, we unpacked it and installed it so easily, it was a dream. The Techinical description of this television in the Argos catalogue is Bush LCD27TV005 27in Widescreen LCD TV. The Argos order number is: 529/2150 and we paid £399.99. From what I have read online, this television was retailing at around £600 originially, but at the moment, all of the LCD televisions seem to be 26 or 30/32 inches, so it looks like they are phasing out the 27" ones. The television is silver in colour and the speakers are each end of the television...

At this point, the high street stores had shut down, and was only available online. We decided to give Dixons.co.uk a shot, as we thought that they would be just as good. A cool 32 inch Samsung LCD TV

Advantages: Fantastic picture quality, nice sound, ease of use and a good looking TV
Disadvantages: One HDMI

...If quality and style is what you are looking for then the Samsung LE32R74BDX 32" HD is the TV for you. This screen is one of the better looking on the market and looks great both on the side with the supplied stand or mounted on the wall (wall mount not supplied). The picture quality is phenomenal. The TV has DNIe (Digital Natural Image engine) which helps to 'step up' the inputted source. This means a great quality pictures even from my DVD player connected through one of the two scart sockets and from the built in freeview receiver. This negates the need to update a DVD player for one with a HDMI connection. The screen produces up to 12.8 billion colours and has a contrast ratio of 5000:1 giving great definition between light and dark. In fact the two main disadvantages with LCD TV's have been solved with this screen...
