Johnsons household flea spray

Advantages: really does work
Disadvantages: expensive for the size of can

...I have 2 house cats and 1 crept out in the night and stayed out and unfortunately came back with these horrible little creatures (fleas) We had fleas before and they wasnt difficult to get rid off. Unfortuantely these ones wasnt shifting, i tried flea repelleant shampoo, spray you leave in floor for 30 minutes, flea collar etc i tried the lot that was cheap but unfortuantely turned out to be expensive. We went to Pets at Home and i found Johnsons Household Flea Spray, as i hadnt tried this before i though i would give it ago. I sprayed this on and around the skirting board as thats where the fleas go often and left the room with the windows open for 30 minutes as you CANNOT breath this in, (Specially children and animals). We ordered a Neff Hob from them late in the evening on 8 November. The website confirmed delivery would normally be in 7 days. The confirmation email stated that someone would contact me within 48 hours to confirm the order and to arrange a suitable delivery date. The Classic Nokia 3500

...I have recently purchased the Nokia 3500 Classic (in pink) and thought I'd give you my first thoughts and feelings on the phone. Hopefully I wont have to change my opinions as the phone gets older! The 3500 is a well made phone, and reminds me slightly of the iPhone in appearance (but at a fraction of the cost!) I bought mine from Carphone Warehouse for £69.99, although I did have to purchase £10 credit. The features the 3500 boasts include Bluetooth, MP3 player, Video recorder, PTT (push to talk - like a walkie talkie) and 2MP camera. The quality of the camera is not quite as clear as previous Sony Ericssons I've had - but it does the job when you're on the go. The simple layout of the 3500 is very simple to use and understand - which I think is common with Nokias. The screen resolution is quite low compared to other phones...

Avoid Sainsbury's Kitchen Appliances

Disadvantages: Contemptuous attitude toward the customer and consumer protection laws

...Please do not order anything from Sainsbury's Kitchen Appliances. We ordered a Zanussi washing machine and are now stuck with this faulty unusable machine, even though we paid extra for fitting and testing. When the machine runs it fills our apartment with the acrid smell of burning rubber. We reported this within 24 hours of our having received delivery of the machine yet Sainsburys will not replace it without first sending out an engineer (the earliest time the engineer will get to us is a full seven days after we reported the fault) who then will submit a report to them (Sainsburys), who will then contact Zanussi. It could easily be 3 weeks or more before we have a working machine. Surely, if a machine is reported as faulty within 24 hours of delivery, it should simply be replaced. Yes. That's the law, but Sainsburys don't see...

...I've owned this keyboard for approx 2 years now. Its been played at gigs a few times and also thrown in the back of the car many more times! Its now not my main keyboard but is still regularly used. Styling and cosmetics The design and styling of the keyboard is a little cheap looking. It feels very plastic and light. A feature of expensive keyboards is their heaviness. Probably not a good indicator of their quality although many would say the same thing! The WK3500 is very light for the size and feels a little vulnerable to knocks. Although i have to say its been played in many packed pubs and never let me down so what do i know! ...To be fair, i'd read the poor reviews of Trade Appliances prior to finally committing to placing my order. I was rather worried but after sitting back and thinking about it, i remembered that logically speaking, people rarely leave good reviews - on the whole. Look up reviews for any high street retailer - most of them are crap - at least 50% and if those figures were really a fair indication of what to expect - they'd all be bust. We ordered 6 appliances of Trade Kitchens - paid online - no problems. Got an email asking for a utility bill for our name and address - not a problem - we were expecting it as their website says to if like us, you want delivery to an address different to your billing address. Cooker. Do not buy anything form Boots Kitchen Appliances

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: A joke

...Under no circumstances buy anything from Boots Kitchen Appliances. I bought a cooker online and was to have it delivered on a Saturday. They informed me of a 4 hour delivery slot on the previous day. It was to be delivered between 7am and 11am. I was called on 7am to inform me they were on their way. They arrived at 8am and got me out of bed. Then informed me they had a dishwasher instead of a cooker. I ask you!!! We arranged another Saturday and was informed two days before that they could not deliver. Arranged another Saturday and they did not turn up. Was not called with any explanation. On each occasion I had to compensate an electrician who I had retained to install it. I am now six weeks without a cooker and it is still ongoing. DO NOT BUY FROM BOOTS KITCHEN APPLIANCES....
