...I recently tried out this Health and Beauty Salon in Swiss Cottage...except it's not actually in a salon. Upon arriving at Harmony for my massage, I quickly realised that it was set up in someone's home. At first I was a little uncomfortable and unsure about this but soon after arriving and meeting my therapist, and seeing that the house was spotless and looked quite professional, I felt quite at ease. MY LITTLE BEAUTY

...Until very recently I'd never tried a single Clarin's product and until even more recently I didn't believe that beauty products really could work miracles. Beauty Flash Bum!

Advantages: None that I can think of
Disadvantages: Expensive and over-rated

...I was given a tube of this 'wonder cream' as a Christmas present from my in-laws just last Christmas. It sat inside my dressing table drawer until about three weeks ago, still in its original box/packaging etc, unused. I don't know why it's taken me so long to open the box and read the 'instructions leaflet' and actually use the stuff - maybe I was having a 'premonition' about it?? I have to say, Clairins Beauty Flash Balm, or, as it states in the French (also on the packaging/tube) "Baume Beaute Eclair" has been probably THE most disappointing beauty product I have used, EVER!! I've used a lot during my years, but this stuff does not live up to the hype, so don't waste your money. ...People believe that health and beauty are two different things but in reality they are not! Although beauty can be found in deth of plants no one thinks that a dying person looks their best especially if they're terminally ill ( cancer or aids). if anything inorder to be beautiful, we need to take care of our bodies inside and out. There are plenty of old wives tales that are out there, in regards to different remedies for the body- and Im more than sure you yourself can recall quite a few. But the question I want to ask is why don't we use these remedies instead of all the new cosmetics and cleaning products out there? I found that with this magazine like so many others, you get advice which seems rather unrealistic if you lead a busy life. ...A friend of mine had been ranting on about how she wanted to try this product. I had seen it on a daytime TV programme as a 'wonder-cure' to make you look like you've had 8 hours sleep. On a shopping trip, there was an offer where you buy 2 Clarin's products and get some other trial-sized goods for free (many many department stores so this). So we bought one each and split the freebies. I had hoped that it would be wonderful and transform my face? however it did not go that far. It did give me a healthy glow when I wore it under my make-up and my make-up did last longer. So it lives up to that claim. The instructions say to use a thin layer under make up 2 - 3 times a weeks and you can also wear it as a beauty mask for 10 - 15mins once a week.
