The 350D!
Advantages: Durable, Great Resolution, Easy to use and great for amateurs -semi pros!
Disadvantages: Doesn't have a sensor cleaner like the 400D
...The Canon 350D is an excellent Digital SLR for semi pro use. Which is exactly what I use it for. It has a small 1.8 inch screen for preview but boasts an 8 megapixel resolution.
Its very easy to use and is compatible with most accessories. I personally have a Canon Speedlite for it, I also have an infra red trigger for studio photography that works great and use interchangeable lenses that also work great.
The battery life is good on the Canon 350D as long as you charge it well. I've done a full day's shoot with this camera (around 6-8 hours) and had no problems with battery life. I would advise taking spares though anyway.
If using flash, then take lots of spare batteries or purchase a battery pack to make the battery life longer.
The settings are very simple to use. For the beginners I would suggest using the program...

Canon EOS 350D!
Advantages: Body, images, Quality, Functions, Price
Disadvantages: Kit Lens
...are in focus and look great! There isn't much more to say on quality other than the saturation is good and the camera is good at deciphering shutter speeds and aperture, so give a good true to life photo.
Overall I would say this camera is suited to amateur photographer and maybe semi pro's who want something nice and portable. Or those on a photography course for A-level and even beginning of a degree course. To conclude this is a great camera, good lens and a large range of accessories can be bough separately to improve its uses.
Another Great Product from Canon

Canon EOS 350D - He He !!!
Advantages: Compact, fast, quality images
Disadvantages: Poor screen view in sunlight
...*******************
Canon EOS 350D
*******************
The time had come to bite the bullet and go completely digital. No, not me - just my camera. Out went film and folders. Out went my trusty old Canon EOS 50E, which had served me well for many years, and in came the latest toy.
Already having a Canon S9000 photo printer (prints A3 size photo poster prints) and another compact digital camera, I was geared up for the change. That, and it *was* a new toy
There were 2 incidents that made me want to switch:
(1) I returned from Hawaii a couple of years ago armed with 25 or so films ready for processing. After a £200+ Jessops bill to process, print and digitise these, just to see which ones I liked, it seemed like an expensive way to go forward.
(2) At my wedding last year, we engaged an excellent professional photographer...

Canon 350 D 8 Megapixel Digital SLR
Advantages: Powerful, 8 Megapixels, CMOS, Digital Display, Light, Fast
Disadvantages: Lacks the odd feature, Difficult to Handle
...I recently purchased my first high powered camera for both work and personal use. After a little searching I found what I believesi the perfect camera for the budget I was willing to spend and for what I intend to use it for.
The Canon 350 D is an excellent camera with pretty much all the features any aspiring photographer may wish for, all of which are descibed well and in detail inthe manuals provided with the camera.
The Camera I bought came with a 1Gb cmpact flash card that enables to me to hold over 250 full resolution pictures measuering 3456 x 2304 pixels, or if I don't require images of that size I can take over 750 pictures at a resolution of 1728 x 1152 pixels. This is more than enough for most. If you camera does not have this much storage I would recomment getting a larger card. Teh quality of the pictures is...

☆ A pictures worth a thousand words ☆
Advantages: Image quality, speed, price (for this kind of camera), weight, size, battery live, customisable features and buttons
Disadvantages: Small veiw finder, ISO information unavailable in view finder
...I had been relatively happy with my Canon A300 camera (putting up with a few minor annoyances) as it produced great pictures for what I need. I take pictures just for personal use. My brother however recently bought this, the Canon EOS 350D and after seeing the exceptional results I couldn't help but have a play round with it (all in the name of research!)
HANDLING
◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙
Picking the camera up for the first time, it's easy to feel the difference between this and it's predecessor the Canon Eos 300D. It now feels more robust, slightly lighter and more compact. Infact one of the first things I noticed about this camera was how small it was. It is bigger than your regular digital camera but for these kind of proffesional ones it's small enough for even me with my tiny...

EOS 350D - All round quality
Advantages: Affordable professional camera, intuitive & easy use, great detailed pictures with minimum effort
Disadvantages: Lenses used should be Canon, and they are not the cheapest but provide good quality
...As an owner of this product and a keen photographer, this is an excellent all-round camera for use by a lay-person who wants professional pictures, and the semi-pro photographers.
Excellent pictures can be taken on automatic mode, but also very easy and intuitive to use whilst on manual mode.
The only slight downside is it took me a while to figure out how to adjust the light and exposure length settings as it uses the same scroll button (other cameras have a seperate scroll for each).
Easy to change lenses, lightweight, it didn't break when I dropped it (!), colourful pictures, and with 8MP you can even crop and print to A3 size. This is a bargain for £360 at current prices, and I will not need to change it for a good few years. I am not at all disappointed I didn't wait for the 400D as there is not a big difference except...

8.0 Megasexy Camera...
Advantages: Light, easy to use, fast, great pictures
Disadvantages: No sync lead for external flash units.
...the pixels). The 350D can give pictures of up to A3 size before you lose detail. So I'd been looking at this camera since it came out, drooling down the window and getting annoyed looks from the shop assistants, till last week when I saw that they had a special offer on the silver version, of around £120 off the RRP, bringing it down to £699.95 (the black version is £5 less but the silver looks cooler) so I thought "Now or never...".
Once I got the camera home, I reverentially took it out of it's box and fitted the pieces together - it comes with a rechargable battery, which you need to remove from the camera and charge in it's own charger which comes with the camera. This takes a remarkably short time to charge, only a couple of hours compared with the AA batteries I used in my old camera, which took about 14 hours to charge fully, and 30...

Canon's latest digital SLR
Advantages: ready to shoot, easy to hold
Disadvantages: slightly to heavy
...I have just been using the new Canon digital EOS350D, the new and improved 8 megapixel camera (it replaces the 6.3mp so I'm told).
A camera nerd friend of mine (maybe I'm being too harsh on him, after all he relies on this type of camera for his job), recently gave me a spell with his new baby, (I don't know how I managed to prise it out of his hands).
Its a sexy black looking camera with lots of things to press (are you impressed with my technical talk), a viewing screen ( which I thought was a bit small) located under the view finder and an easy to find shutter release button.
It has a very quick and easy click on and off lens changing facility, which is great when you have to change from a 55mm lens whilst taking pictures of butterflies to a 300mm to catch that bird that has just landed in the tree next to you, and blast off...
