3700, is it really worth upgrading?
Review of HP Color LaserJet 3700 by
garfee2003
Advantages: light, shows how much the toner has left on the L.C.D, compact
Disadvantages: none yet
...The 3700 had taken over the the loyal 4500, i love the 4500 model, everything is easy to find, toners, drum, fuser, memory, i have had the 3700 apart and i think it has the same potential.
The sliding out drawer on the front is a good idea, that lets you see into the whole printer, toners slide straight in and you have the engine at the bottom and sides.
I have had one problem with my machine so far, dredid paper jam, on the 4500 you would have to take the sides off to get inside the engine, but on this beauty all you have todo is open the front doortake out 4 screws and there you have access to the engine, fantastic when your in a rush.
the exterior is also a great advantage, it looks better than the 4500, on the L.C.D you have the toner module which tells you how much of the toner you have left, brilliant thats a alot better...

OCZ PC3700 Gold Edtion
Review of OCZ Enhanced Latency DRAM 1 GB PC3700 by
neildemmert
Advantages: Very overclockable, Excellent quality
Disadvantages: None I can think of, price maybe
...I was building myself an extreme gaming PC from scratch and had no clue of what memory to put in it, there is so much out there! I started by scouring the internet to find more info about memory. I came across OCZ and was very impressed by the performance and reliability figures which I had found, most people had nothing but praise for OCZ, especially the PC3700 gold. It was above the price I had budgeted for so I was a bit put off to begin with, but the more I learnt about it the more I liked it, so decided to buy.
It did exactly what it said on the tin, and more...( A very quick insight into overclocking) You see, an extreme gaming machine must be made to run as fast as it possibly can, whilst still maintaining stabiliy. Basically its like modifying a car engine to make it go faster, then you do the suspension to make it go around...

Lupine Wilma 4 (430 lumens version)
Review of Lupine Wilma 4 by
EasyExercise.co.uk
Advantages: Bright, Lightweight, Good battery, Easy to fit and remove
Disadvantages: Cost
...I own the 2007 (430 lumen) version of this light, and have done for the last 12 months. I use it for offroad mountain biking (both leisure and 12 / 24 hour solo races) and commuting. At the time, I paid £330 for it. You can possibly get it cheaper, now that the 2008 (830 lumens model) has superceeded it.
WHAT IT CONSISTS OF
Battery and tough fabric carry bag.
single headlight.
seperate switch.
Charger.
Helmet mount.
Battery extension cable.
....everything needed to run it basically.
WHAT IT IS AND DOES
4 LED single headlight that has an adjustable light output (user choice). It has a run time from approx 3 1/2 hours to approx 30 hours (depending on what light setting you have). It has a single beam pattern which either off road or on road has not caused me any problems - it lights up everything it needs to...

3700+ or 3.7+ ???
Review of AMD Athlon 64 3400+ / 2.2 GHz processor by
Lewis_UK
Advantages: Actual Speed, Overclockability, Heat, Cost
Disadvantages: Low Clock Speed, 11x multiplier, no dual core, No heat pipes on cooler
...<---THIS IS FOR THE 3700+ Socket 939 1MB L2
Specifications
* Socket: 939
* FAB: 90NM
* Speed: 2200
* Multiplier: 11
* L1 Cache: 128K
* L2 Cache: 1024K
* Vcore: 1.4v
* Max CPU Temp:71C
* Core Stepping: E4 - San Diego
* TDP: 89W
I bought this processor for £145, for the E4 stepping, which is cheap for the same core as what is put in the FX series of processors (San Diego). This features a whopping 1MB L2 cache which enables the processor the slight edge in games. The chip operates at 2.2 Ghz, however the AMD Index rating rates it at 3700+. This is the equivlent roughly of a pentium 4 or an Athlon Thunderbird at 3.7 Ghz. AMD rates this at 3700+ because it does more instruction per cycle (1 cycle = 1hertz) than the other two processors.
The new San Diego cores use the new DSL...

Review of Nikon Coolpix 3700 by
TheUltimatePoser
Advantages: light and compact very good for close-ups
Disadvantages: none noticed
...will only record at 15 so you will get decent movies from this little baby as well.
Close-ups are also good, we had a customer come in to the shop who was a coin collector and needed close up images of his coins as he was selling them i showed him the nikon 3700 and we took a close up picture of a 2p coin and suffice to say he purchased the Nikon 3700
Highly recommended camera...

A really well built camera worth the extra
Review of Nikon Coolpix 3700 by
FallScrape
Advantages: Sturdy camera with a very nice build quality
Disadvantages: No control over the ISO settings
...A few months ago I was looking for a mid range camera which was small, reliable and had a good handling feeling. After compairing to a number of different cameras I finally settled on the Nikon 3700.
In England Dixons have bought the exclusive right to sell this camera - this means you're paying last years prices for last years camera. It's definately not top of the range, but it has some nice qualities that made me buy it.
What I was looking for in a camera:
Good build design
SD card reader
Takes a normal over the shelf battery
Took good quality pictures for an A4 photo
The 3700 has a very high standard of build qualty. Whilst not actually very heavy, it certainly makes its weight felt in the right places. It's made mainly of metal with a brushed steel look on the front. The zoom part has a pretty good feel when it...

Easy to use, but you must search for a good price
Review of Kodak EASYSHARE DX3700 by
fallen121
Advantages: Very easy to use camera
Disadvantages: Not many features for the price, battery life is a bit uncertain
...to remove and place in a memory slot in order to upload the pictures. The Kodak DX3700 does the same thing without the hassle and in less time. The camera comes with all the software you need to upload, edit and email your photos. All you need is an email address and an internet connection.
The second thing I like about it is that it is fairly small and light, so is easy to carry around. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t one of you mini mobile phone sized cameras, but it will fit in a coat pocket with room to spare. Some people I know have complained about the body looking ‘cheap looking’ but I actually think it doesn’t look too bad. Of course, if I’d paid £329 for it I probably think quite differently, but the casing is sort of black and silver, not ‘cheap cheap’ but not expensive looking either. Which is probably just as well really, as in my...

Like a Duracell battery
Review of Trek 3700 by
mooney1
Advantages: Practically unbreakable
Disadvantages: Suspension needs improving
...The trek 3700 is a great bike as it lasts for years and years without anything going wrong with it. I got mine about 3 years ago and it still hasn't broken, even though i use it everyday! The forks have taken a real beating over the years as i do downhill biking quite a lot and many of my friends have snapped their forks within half the time i've had my trek. The suspension at the front is stiff at first but it soon loosens up and this provides a much more comfortable ride and if you're not bouncing about so much, it's easier to concentrate on the trail.
But the suspension also brings about the first problem with the trek as it lacks rear suspension. This makes the ride much less comfortable and therefore enjoyable for someone who would only use it for cycling in urban areas. This is just about the only fault i can find with the trek...

A Brick in more ways than one!
Review of Trek 3700 by
alexwhite.sm
Advantages: Great on the road, powerful brakes, strong frame.
Disadvantages: Not ideal off road
...Well it is almost 3 years ago to the day when i purchased my trek 3700 from my bike shop. I remember instantly noticing that it was way better than my old bike, a concept something which was frankly terrible! I ride my bike about 20 miles every weekend, and has now well exceeded the 100 mile mark. It has got to here with basically no faults atall!
It got its first service last weekend, which was pretty impressive i thought as it had never needed it before (due to water getting into the back wheel bearing and the freewheel mechanism they both needed replacing-this is due to spraying with a power hose). The brakes are very effective, apart from as the other review mentions they do have a habit of loosening-if you go on any long cycle rides it is well worth having an allan key on you just in case. Also if you enjoy riding on muddy...
