3com hubs offer reliability and compatibility
Advantages: Reliable, dual speed compatible, built in management
Disadvantages: Connectors have begun to rust - might cause problems in the future
...Preface
=
When you work so much technology around you, like I do, you begin to learn which technology is more reliable than others - especially when you have to deal with warranties/replacements! Some hardware is appalling, and without mentioning any brand names in this opinion I would say that the monitors that we use are the most unreliable monitors I have every seem. Seriously, we replace one at least every couple of weeks.
But then you get some pieces of hardware, like the 3com Superstack II hub, that you don't even remember exists. It just sits in the corner of my office, doing its job, and just doesn't stop. That is why I'm writing this opinion. This hub deserves recognition for its reliability - as it's a fine piece of kit.
The 3com SuperStack II Dual-speed hub 500...

Diablo II Expansion Set: The Lord Of Destruction
Advantages: new characters, items and Act
Disadvantages: it's still not Diablo III :p
..., so that's where multiplayer beats a single hero.
Conclusion
The introduction of Expansion: Lord of Destruction was a strategical move from Blizzard as they wanted to make us busy with sth by the time they have been developing Diablo III. They didn't change the main game features and style, only added a little bit here and there to keep players interested. There are people who have never stopped playing Diablo and they would never touch Diablo II, the same goes for the datadisc.
Of course I would prefer to have Diablo III by now, but if it's not out yet and LOD is what they gave, it works with me. Enjoy!
NB: This is only LOD review, I have reviewed the entire Diablo II in another review as well....

the sims 2 pets expansion pack
Advantages: great new features
Disadvantages: i prefer holiday pack more
...The product I am reviewing is "the Sims 2 pet's expansion"
About a year ago I loved playing on the Sims 2 games.
I paid £14.99 for this game from play.com
Id purchased : The Sims 2 University, The Sims 2 Nightlife, The Sims 2 Open For Business, The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff Pack, The Sims 2 Seasons ,The Sims 2 Bon Voyage and of course last but not least the Sims 2 pets .
The thing that appealed to me the most about purchasing the expansion and stuff packs were the fact they offered great new furniture, hair styles, clothes, dialect, houses, cars and many other things my Sims could experiment.
Buying the expansion packs made playing on the Sims 2 so much more entertaining, when you buy a game and you play it religiously after so long you get bored of it but with the large choice of expansion and stuff packs available you always had...

Rub a dub HUB
Advantages: Enough connectivity for a small office
Disadvantages: Pricy
...3com are a market force in all things Network. As I have discussed im my reviews yesterday, they provide everything you could possibly need to set up and maintain a nework of any size.
While your PC's need a network card to allow them to connect to the outside world, they also need a meeting places for all of their cables and a method of communication.
That is where the hub takes over.
I like to think of the hub as the local telephone exchange. It sits there and reroutes all of your calls to their correct destination. Only with the hub, its computer commands instead of telephone calls.
Obviously, some people need a small hub and some need a slightly bigger hub, depending on their requirements. Luckily, 3com provide a solution and hub size for everyone.
When buying and choosing your hub, always allow for expansion. If you...

Excellent Expansion
Advantages: Many new campaigns and new units
Disadvantages: Few bugs
...This expansion is totally worth buying if you liked the original Medieval 2 Total War game. It includes 4 new campaigns and more than 140 new units.
The campaigns include The Americas conquest, Battle of Britannia, The Crusades, and the Teutonic campaign. Each of this campaigns have very in depth historical details on them, unlike the original game which is somewhat a more generic european campaign without many historical events happenng besides the black plague and the mongols invasion.
If you liked the campaign mode in the original game your basically getting 4 new games with this expansion. As each of them is a standalone enjoyment that will have you hooked up for many days.
Expansion packs are divided into bad ones, regular ones, good ones and must buy ones, Medieval 2 Kingdoms stands right between the Good and Must...

Rise of the Great Expansion
Advantages: Add loads to the game
Disadvantages: Takes time to get use to!!
...Return of the Witch King, this expansion to the original battle for middle 2 takes the strategic game to better level. It main focus is the "Rise of the Witch King" which i guess everyone has grasped. The first thing you notice is the new single player campaign, (this shows the story of The Witch-Kings rise to power) during the campaign you will fight using the new Angmar faction (including snow trolls, sorcerers and much more). The story line advances on the previous and creates a whole new one based on the Witch-Kings adventures.
The new Angmar faction introduces a slightly different way of fighting/spawning your troops, instead of creating your units straight from the the structures, you can spawn a taskmaster!. These taskmasters can call a variety of different units to the battlefield! wolves, pike men, worriers..and more. So you...

Review of The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth II The Rise of the Witch-King Expansion Pack (PC)

The great expansion
Advantages: An even better game than before
Disadvantages: Need the main game to play
...This game Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth 2 - Return of the Witch King is an expansion pack for Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth 2. As with all expansion packs, it is packed with many new features.
This expansion pack is based around the witch king and him creating his own faction to control middle earth. The storyline for this is very good and an improvement on the other two storylines from the main game. The storyline seems to get you more interested and it makes you have evil thoughts of creating a massive dark army, which is very impressive. The witch king starts off on his own with a few minions but has to recruit new heroes/villains, whichever you prefer. This is quite cool as it feels more tactical recruiting rather than just producing, however it is all event triggered so it is quite easy too. With all...

Age of Empires II: The brilliant expansion
Advantages: Brilliant Game engine, Better than its predeccesors
Disadvantages: Its only a 2D graphics system.
...Aok has many features that would lure anybody, who maybe hasn?t even thought about playing strategy games before to give it a try and try to survive amongst all of the other Empires Competing against you. Age of conquerors is very easy, and sometimes can be a little tricky even at times impossible! I will now (I wish I didn?t have to!) list some of the bad points of age of conquerors.
Well lets face it ,everyone since 2001 has been hooked onto the rising market of 3D gaming, and age of conquerors is old, so sadly, It only has 2D graphics. Don?t let that put you off some of the graphics are still amazing, even today.
Another bad point is the sound, sometimes it doesn?t work with some sound cards, and sadly even some of the newer ones, so check on Microsoft?s age of conquerors website before buying this game as you sound card might...

3Coms
Advantages: Reliable
Disadvantages: Nothing special
...3Com Card
This card is a nice card but when it come to networking cads there is only two things that make a difference one being the speed, you only tend to find three types of network card all at various speeds ranging form 10 mbps then you get a 10/100 mbps and just recently you can now get hold of a 10/100/1000mbps cars that can use any of these three standards.
The card in question will only run at either ten mega bits per second or one hundred mbps depending on you other hard ware so this is something to keep in mind when buying this card. If you are using a Rj45 Crossover network cable linking two machines directly and both cards will work a 10/100 then you will receive a speed of 100mbps but if the other card in the other machine is only running a 10mbps you will only get speed of 10mbps the speed of the slowest card...

Modern Warfare 2
Advantages: Graphics, Sound, Campiagn, Online Multiplayer, Simple Controls
Disadvantages: Complicated Multiplayer maps
...The wait is finally over and Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 has finally arrived. I was eagerly anticipating its release, so much so that I pre-ordered it the first day that it was available to do so. The original Modern Warfare and World at War are probably my 2 favourite games of all time, so would one of the most hyped up games of all time, live up to expectations ?
~~~ First Impressions ~~~
Right from the beginning I was impressed. The adverts before the actual game are again skippable, which means you're ready to start shooting in seconds. The first menu lets you go into whichever game mode you want and all in all the game looked excellent after the first minute or so.
~~~ Story ~~~
The game takes place 5 years after the original Modern Warfare. Despite your best attempts back then the Russians have...
