...Hiya sorry about the boredom about these floppy disks first the imation 3 1/2" floppu disks and now its those pesky 3M's. Right i am sorry to say that my other batch of imation floppy disks have run out. So i phoned my supplier and i was informed by the lovely lady called charlie that they had run out. So she did suggest i try the new 3M pack of 10 floppies. Right onto the product in hand: These are the worst floppy disks i have ever purchased, the colour black is the worst ever but i must agree that floppies are the same as any other floppies. These floppy disks are not pre-formatted so you would need to format them yourself which is really time consuming, especially if you have a really important report due in the next day for the bank as i did. These floppies are not as good as the Imation series as all of these disks are...

Aiptek PocketCam 3M

Advantages: Very reasonably priced, quality photos, comes with tripod and case.
Disadvantages: Slow shutter speed, the flash reflects white if using indoors.

...I bought my PocketCam for £79.99, I was blinded by the 3 mega pixels, the tripod and the price. I somewhat regret the purchase now though. It was intended to be an upgrade from my 1 mega pixel Kodak digital camera, which was great but the picture quality was not up to scratch so I purchased this one and proceeded to take photos, it was during the day and they all came out great with no problems. The next time I used it was indoors in the evening the flash reflected off everything light or white so the pictures where terrible, after much adjustment with the settings I managed to take a few good ones but these varied as to how much light was in the room. And whether the flash was set to auto or not. The other thing I found was that the delay the camera took to take the actual photo was about 2 seconds therefore any photos of moving...

A clean environment

...As an office administrator I am continuously using my computer for all aspects of my job. The best part of my job is designing and producing flyers, leaflets and posters for our events. I produce a draft and before printing it, to save paper I ask my manager to see what she thinks of my work. She normally asks me to move the pictures around, perhaps change the font and colours. While she is telling me what to edit she will point and touch the screen then move her finder about to show me where she wants things to be placed. Which is fair enough but it really irritates me because she will leave a trail of grease behind on my screen which is really irritating and I can't work with a messy screen. Its not as hard as you think

Advantages: Cut the cost of hair dressing
Disadvantages: The vibration from the shaver makes your wrist tingle

...I bought this shaver because my husband begrudged paying the barber to have his hair cut especially as he had it done every 3 weeks. The shaver cost just under £20 so it paid for itself after 5 cuts. It comes with a variety of attachments for length and it has a lever so you can have a longer or shorter version of each fitment. I found to start with that the fitments were tight to get on and you really do need to make sure they are on properly. One fell off once and I shaved a strip of hair by mistake leaving rather a gapping hole! The shaver is easy to use if the hair is to be cut the same length all over. If not you have to blend to avoid obvious lines but I found with practice this became easier. The quetion is who do you practice on? I even invested in a flat top comb and produced some good cuts even for a novis. BE...

A bulge in your pocket that will make you happy

...at the back of a pay-as-you-leave bus one day - price was an important parameter. The cheapest brand new digital camera in Argos or Comet is/was around the £50 mark, and a 2.1 megapixel spec....having used my wife's small silver curved pleasuregiver (the Olympus....whaddaya think I meant?), I know that 2.1 megapixels is okay but a little limiting at times. So I hit the well-trodden virtual streets of EBay. For around £60, you can get a 6.6 megapixel non-optical zoom beastie imported from Germany. Oy vey, too expensive. Any second-hand, previously-cherished 3.1 megapixel cameras around? Not many, actually.....but in the end, I bid on and won an Aiptek PocketCam, boxed and used twice, for £26 including delivery. Next day, it was in my hands, service faster than a bat up a nightdress. And I'm very impressed; here are the techie speccies...

...happy to see the little screws on the cable end. On my old cable I had these tiny little screws and had to get a screw driver if I wanted to unplug the cable but with this model I only need to turn the end to release it. So if you have a printer which needs a cable like the APC why not spend the extra few pounds and buy this. It's very good quality and will never let you down. I couldn't have been happier with it. I'm not too big a fan of USB cables for printers... Bring back APC!...

...This is just budget cable I use for connecting my mp3 player to my home hi-fi setup, I also use this cable for connecting my laptop to my hi fi. It is basically a mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm - male on the one end - plugs into your headphone socket in your laptop for instance, and on the other end has 2 x RCA - male connectors, which plug into a normal Hi-fi around the back, left and right channel. This is a standard connection on both ends, nothing special, but works well everytime. The cable is 5m long, made from the usual black plastic, with rubberised ends to stop the cable from snapping and degrading on the pressure points, the cable I have takes a lot of abuse on the ends and has been reliable for a long time.
