Reviews of 4 slice toaster
Not so hot ....
Review of Dualit Dualit Dualit 40349 4 Slice Metalli by
jonnyleck
Advantages: Its aesthetically pleasing
Disadvantages: God damm that timer
...I have been informed from friends and reviews on the Internet that Dualit toasters are the best toasters you can buy. Why? Because they have been making toasters since 1946, and apparently just because its expensive it is good. Also they are British, support the economy and all that.
The toaster cost me £130 from Frasers in Glasgow.
Style: The toaster itself is extremely aesthetically pleasing; it is highly polished stainless steel (which was perfect as all appliances in my kitchen are silver/chrome) with a crumb tray at bottom. There isn’t a browning feature, rather Dualit has gone for a timer. There is one other button, which switches the toaster from a 4 slice to a 2 slice so as to conserve energy. A handle at the base of the toaster is used to flip the toast up, it does not pop up as with other toaster’s.
Size: This particular...

2 slices and great prices.
Review of Cookworks KT800 by
welshwickedone
Advantages: Cheap, good quality and price
Disadvantages: None as yet.
...the grill, so when my partner came home from work the next day, off we went to Argos to collect the new toaster I had reserved online.
The Cookworks KT800 2 slice toaster is sold in Argos for £4.48 and can reserved online for store collection or ordered for home delivery, although I chose to opt for store collection, as it is the only item I needed from Argos on this particular occasion.
The Toaster/ My Opinion
-----------------------------------------
The toaster comes in a cardboard box with pictures of the product on it and is keep in place in the box by cardboard supports to prevent damage in transit. The product is supplied with a plug as required by law and the plug has plastic covers to prevent damage and it damaging the toaster in transit.
The toaster itself is rectangular and measures 9.75inches/25cms wide, 5.25inches/13.5cms depth...

tefal 2 or 4 slice chome toaster
Review of Tefal 5328.16 by
honeydee
Advantages: 2 or 4 slice, independant toasting
Disadvantages: none yet.
...I've had this toaster for 6 weeks, purchased from a high street electrical retailer. I didn't intend to pay this much for a toaster, as my previous one had been a two slice basic, thing, that only lasted 18 months.
This toaster takes anything we toast bagels, crumpets, cheese scones, and bread of all thicknesses. The fact that my husband likes things just cooked, and I like well done toast and crumpets, makes this toaster perfect, I have my 2 slices turned up and he has his just on.
The other great feature is the reheat without toasting which is great as we all get to answer the phone or the door just as the toast is done, then its gone cold, and if you retoast it would get burnt, but the reheat button just heats and doesn't toast.
Cleaning is easy as at the back it has 2 separate crumb trays that slide in and out, also the edges...

Lovely Toast
Review of Swan ST7020 4 Slice by
Foxy1982
Advantages: High Lift Feature, Even Toasting
Disadvantages: No Vartiable Toasting Slots
...Having just finished my breakfast and at a loss for what to do today, I am going to review the very toaster that just moments ago provided me with 4 slices of golden and crispy toast.
I have had The Swan ST7020 toaster for a few months now and I got it as part of a Swan kettle and toaster pack from the Littlewoods catalogue. The double pack cost me £49 and I am unaware of how much you can purchase the ST7020 toaster for on its own.
The toaster itself has a stainless steel finish with a black plastic platform and also the control panel is on black plastic. It looks stylish and modern and fits nicely in the corner of my sideboard.
The Swan ST7020 is a 4 Slice toaster with the option of toasting 2 slices or 4 slices as it is split into 2 sections, Each section able to toast 2 slices with its own push down lever.
The toaster doesn...

A Toast to My Toaster
Review of Morphy Richards Europa 44405 Toasters by
angeelu
Advantages: Takes thick slices / crumpets / bagels etc, high lift, cool wall, easy to remove crumb tray, reheat button, warming rack
Disadvantages: Fairly short cable may cause some people a problem?
...the bottom of the toaster - a great improvement in comparison to my previous toaster which required the use of a screw driver to remove the crumb tray!
It's also great to see a cool wall feature that really works - again, my previous toaster supposedly had this feature, and although the walls weren't red hot, they were still very warm and may have burnt a child had they touched it - with this toaster the walls stay much much cooler throughout the whole toasting cycle.
All in all, I would certainly recommend this toaster and I hope it continues to function as it is doing now - for £14.99 with a 2 year manufacturers guarantee I'm certainly happy with my purchase. Perhaps the only downside is that the cable on the toaster is fairly short, which may cause problems for people who need a long lead on their toaster.
The Europa 4 slice toaster...

Buy a toaster with your pocket money!
Review of Tesco 2T05W Value W by
Shortsharpshock
Advantages: Cool wall, minimalistic, makes great toast. Six quid!
Disadvantages: No variable widths, no advanced features, flimsy.
...making toast is a bit of a bugger though as a family who lives on the admittedly disproportionate Warburton's loves the Tesco Value toaster cannot fit a whole slice in. This means having to turn the toast the other way up half way through cooking making toasting an unfortunately manual process. In the interests of fairness though this toaster does toast particularly well with none of the safe cracking skills require by my previous toaster and cooks perfect toast if you buy the supermarket own "square" bread. I put the dial on 4 for medium sliced bread or 5 for thick and it toasts to perfection. Surprising considering the flimsy look of the elements inside the toaster.
I have already mentioned the toaster's flimsy, plasticky feel and this is perhaps this toasters main drawback as components seem loosely fitted and the outer shell is very...

Cookworks 2 Slice Toaster
Review of Cookworks ST6203 by
newby2
Advantages: cheap and cheerful
Disadvantages: none
...by each catalogue I noticed that here had been a reduction from the set price of £9.99 pence to a great price of £4.99 pence. As most people do I like a bargain and I was looking forward to getting a toaster worth a tenner for half price.
The toaster is capable of toasting two slices of toast at a time and boasts having a variable browning control, as most toasters have, but also the added bonus of a removable crumb tray and auto adjustable slot width. The voltage of the toaster is 230v, which works out to 800w. The voltage of the toaster is slightly higher than my previous one which meant that I had to get used to the bread cooking quicker therefore the browning control needed to be set at less than I am used to.
The toaster looks pretty smart on my kitchen worktop. The colourings are silver effect which comes up lovely and shiny...

Anyone for toast
Review of Tesco 2T05W Value W by
mumsymary
Advantages: cheap
Disadvantages: Does not take large slices of bread
...Oh no the toast is only cooking one side so its time for a new toaster, I have had so many toasters can not find a good one so I went into Tesco and splashed out £5.99p on their value toaster.
Ahh packaged in that bog standard cheap white box with blue writing on it I smuggle it out of the store , do I want to be seen buying a Tesco value toaster .
Well get the machine home and unwrap it. This toaster is a 2 slot toaster for two pieces of bread I usually have a 4 slice toaster. This may not be as convenient for me.
The outer of the toaster is white plastic a basic toaster slightly curved. It looks ok not posh but defiantly not tatty tat. The plastic means it does not get too hot to touch but the white plastic is thin obviously cheap.
The toaster controls are minimal ,frozen , reheat and cancel buttons in grey a dial with numbers...

Be careful with it!
Review of Tefal TT7485.15 4 Slice by
sidneycat
Advantages: Variable heat/time, 4 slots, toasts bread :)
Disadvantages: Fragile, very fragile
...taken a slight knock…in any case, it can no longer toast 4 slices of bread at once.
Overall, a very good toaster. Just make sure you be careful with it if you do buy one, then I'm sure you'll be very happy with it....

A little Toast to the Toaster!
Review of Morphy Richards 44721 by
shaaza
Advantages: defrosts & doesn't leave bread soggy, removable crumb tray which is non-stick, a wide slot
Disadvantages: expensive, stainless steel part of the toaster can get hot
...We recently bought a toaster as our last one caught fire whilst I, myself was trying to make some toast (which only happens once in a blue moon). The Morphy Richards 44721 is a two slice toaster which is rather heavy for a toaster and is chrome and stainless silver in the middle. The toaster is for every type of bread whether thin, fat, frozen or fresh bread it is designed to toast all of them.
I am sure that a lot of people are familiar with Morphy Rochards. They are basically a company who specialize in manufacturing household appliance and they are neither cheap nor expensive they are mediocre on pricing.
Price and Place
I and my mum went strolling in Currys looking for a new toaster and she got attracted to the chrome colour of the toaster, therefore decided to purchase the toaster. The toaster was priced at £29.99 which I...
