I firmly believe you cannot judge any writer until you have sampled a few different offering from them. With that in mind, I thought I would try a very different type of author in the shape of Jackie Collins. About the author: Jackie Collins was born in London on the 4th October 1937. In her very colourful life this novelist began life as an actor and appeared in several roles, following in her elder sister Joan?s footsteps. Advantages: Easy to obtain and it's available on lots of formats

Wonderland Track one "Something Got Me Started" is a pop funk fest of oozing sexuality. The bass line, the spoken intro, the whispery "show me" and the backing singing all add up to a smashing song. It was a huge hit and I like the idea of a man realising he's done wrong and how he's trying to get someone back. "Totally broken hearted, guilty of what I did to you, lately since we've parted, I truly know that I need you". It's repetitive in places but it only adds to the song I think. A great Star Trek for everyone!

Advantages: Transparent illuminum
Disadvantages: The dreamy weird bit when they travel through time

...option here and what it is trying to help us understand are the long term consequences of our current actions with the environment and nature around us. The film is also special because we have Spock back with us...and it's good to know that he, his wit (without realising it) and friendship with Kirk will last for a long time after this film. I think one of the reasons this film did so well was because it did not focus entirely on space and battles with Klingons, it brought Star Trek down to a level that everyone could watch and enjoy. 'I bet you are from outer space'... 'No, I'm from Iowa...I only work in outer space'. Brilliant! Summary: A great family trek fest...

Advantages: Lots of choice, films, prices; shops, bars, eateries etc
Disadvantages: only one cash till machine, difficult to reach/find, expensive for families

...location, about 7 miles from the city centre near the Fort Dunlop industrial Estate in Perry Barr. Difficult to get to even by bus or car, and you may decide not to bother if you're already in the city centre which has its own cultural delights. Star City, however, is a winner. You may want to check compatibility on the MSI site before you buy blank DVDs. Sony blanks, for instance, aren't supported! >Burning< The drive only supports burning my particular brand of 4x DVDs at 2x - which takes ~30mins. I am going to get some Ritek G04 media (search for it) which is reliable and supported at 4x. However, I seriously recommend against multi-tasking while burning. The drive has a buffer and is on a seperate IDE channel to my hard disk, AND I am running WinXP Pro on an Athlon XP 1800+ with 512MB of RAM, but I have killed several blank DVDs by trying to browse the web etc while burning. Burning CD's is fine though and supported at upto 24x. >Reading< The drive is fine...

Jurassic 4... stars

Advantages: Clever, innovative and intelligent raps, cool beats
Disadvantages: a couple of weaker tracks

...characteristic of J5. The song is pretty soulful and the beat simplistic but the vocals are stylish, especially Chali 2na's, his vocals stand out head and shoulders above the members. A good track and a nice one to kick back to. [7/10] [Track 3 - If You Only Knew] The song opens with a piano and a snare drum which lay out the beat which is forthcoming. There is a flute in the background and the rappers switch the lyrics amongst themselves and share the verses. Some of the verses are a little weaker than others but 2na and 7even's verses make up for the shortcomings of their compatriots. Once again, quite a minimalistic beat with an easy-going vibe. [7/10] [Track 4 - Break] This track opens at slighter higher tempo with another bumping kick/snare combination from the drums and a quicker delivery with the lyrics. The rhyme schemes are strong...

It might seem like an obvious point, but finding a reliable board that I could use indefinitely on a p4 HT and then a dual core in the future was challenging. ...Ah, Star Wars, Anew Hope, what an amazing film. This is also in my top 5 movies. It was an amazingly thought out film. I mean, you haven't lived until you've seen star wars. At the beginning, a rebel ship containing Princess Leia is captured by Darth Vader. 2 droids, C3P0 and R2D2 escape. Only to be sold to Luke Skywalker. Who sets out on an adventure with Han Solo, Chewbacca and Obi Wan Kenobi. They set out to defeat the empire by joining the rebels. This film is a sci-fi epic. Full of action, adventure, and thrills. Ask anyone about Star Wars and they will tell you it is a great film. Everybodys heard of it, who hasn't. The Director George Lucas is an amazing director. Briliant, he put 110% into this film. The result was unbelievable. Now the soundtrack to Star Wars is also brilliantly mixed in wIth the film...
