The Royal Albion Hotel, Brighton
Advantages: great location, cheap, nice rooms, excellent food

The Royal Albion Hotel was built in 1826 and is situated in a fantastic location opposite Brighton pier. It is a three star hotel and has 186 guest rooms offering views of Brighton beach or the town centre.

4 Star Hostel..... sorry Hotel!
Advantages: Near transport links
Disadvantages: 4 star is generous
...think whoever gave the hotel a 4 star rating was being a bit generous. There are 61 rooms in the hotel and the bar consisted of three stools in the lobby area and a couple of couches facing a small television. There were a very limited number of drinks at the bar and between us we got 4 bottles of budweiser coming in at 6 euros a bottle.
