A simply stunning package overall

Advantages: Very Nice Design; Huge Screen; Truely HD Ready
Disadvantages: Some Loading Times Between Modes

...Before I begin this review I must give a word of warning. If you decide to purchase this television in a high street store make sure that you purchase the PS42S5H model and not the PS42S5S model. Both models look identical and in some stores both are labelled as "HD Ready." This is not the case however, and only the PS42S5H model has the correct specifications for true HDTV. Why buy an Epson cartridge over a cheaper make?

Advantages: Great print quality from this cartridge.
Disadvantages: Can be pricey depending where you buy it from.

...The T036 black ink cartridge is suitable for the following printer models (all Epson of course): Epson Stylus C42 Plus (this is my model)/C42S/C42SX/C42UX/C44 PLUS/C44UX. My black ink cartridge ran out and I went to my local Rymans to buy another. It cost £17.99 from that particular store but I know you can purchase it much cheaper (for as little as £3) if you shop around. I got home and followed the on screen instructions for changing the cartridge. They were really straightforward, it tells you how & when to remove the old cartridge, when to remove the new one from it's protective plastic packaging (taking care not to touch the little electronic chip on the side), when to remove the yellow tab that is attached to the cartridge and how to insert it. IDEAL FOR LIGHT RECREATION, ROAD USE

Advantages: Good price, Good looking frame, Smooth disc brakes
Disadvantages: Front Suspension Fork is very poor, esp for off road use

Airborne fun!

Advantages: new elements to the WW2 genre.
Disadvantages: its too short, the end is maddeningly hard

...nades willy nilly, you really do have to cook them first or you wont kill a thing. The bots will pound ten bells out of you if they get close enough too. - later levels have snipers on them. YOu can spot them from a neat little reflection on their scope gleaming in the sunlight. On the downside, they can kill you with one shot. The downsides. - its too short - it gets hard as hell near the end, you have to fight near invincible enemies weilding MG42's and Panzershreks and snipers who kill with one shot (even on normal difficulty) - The weapon upgrades are limited and get dull. - on later levels you find yourself alone and outnumbered again fighting as a one man army. In conclusion, its worth it....

The IBM T42 Legend

I had a Sony vaio previously and had nothing but problems. The next laptop I buy will defiantly be an IBM. I used to see Hundreds of laptops a day as I used to repair and built spec laptops for siemens for use in large corporations and I have sent 1000 of IBM T42's out and also Toshibas and Compaq's. Every month we would receive hundreds of Compaq's and Toshibas for repair I think I only repaired two IBM T42 one a key had fallen off and the Other the screen had been smashed by standing on it. Review of 42nd Street

The T42 - a good all round machine

Advantages: Slim, very light, IBM cachet, good screen, fantastic keyboard
Disadvantages: Build quality perhaps, ticking hard drive

.... My T-41 had a similar spec drive, but it was a Fujitsu one and didn't tick. The T42 has a Hitachi Travelstar drive. Both were made around the same time, according to the IBM site. My T42 seems to have had a rather long shelf time. While we're on hard drive issues, I've also heard rumours that a lot of the T-42's made in 2005 have hard drives going bad and having to be returned to base for replacement. Just google it, and you'll probably come up with something. I've been a fan of IBM thinkpads for a while now, having had the T30 and the T41 before this one. I resisted from buying the T43 (the T60 is out of my price range anyway) since online reviews don't really rate it very high.
