iPod Nano 4GB 3rd Gen player

...When I first received this iPod in the mail, I was taken back! I have seen these before in real life and online, and honestly; they don't look so small and thin! They look really nice, and the sound quality is incredible! Music takes like no time to load onto the iPod through iTunes. And when you're in the player, you can listen to music, watch videos, podcasts, TV Shows, Play games, store contacts, notes and it even keeps you up to date on the time ^^. Looks: 10/10 Sound: 10/10 Quality 20/10 I would recommend buying a metal case when you purchase it though, as the back WILL scratch like hell unless you protect it! The screen is amazingly bright and clear, and the click-wheel makes navigating easy as pie. The wheel is a bit sensitive though. Amazing product, would recommend....

...The first I want to say about this product is how long the battery lasts. I was playing around with this thing for a whole 2 days without the battery even going down under half. I later realised that the battery life was up to 45hours which is pretty incredible, considering it is longer than the Ipod touch. So 4GB may not seem to much to a lot of people, but for those who don't have a HUGE music collection, but want just enough to be able to store a few hundred tracks, this mp3 player has an ideal capacity. ...This Crucial Gizmo is great for anyone looking to backup there files up to 4GB. I have had this device for over a year now and it?s been great. You can save anything from pictures, music, videos, Photoshop files, pretty much anything you can think of really to this device. I backed up a few file drivers from one PC and placed them on to another PC, which worked great. This saved the hassle of writing a CD with the files I needed to place on to another PC which I would have probably only used once as well. Stylish iPOD 4GB player

Advantages: Portable, nice navigation wheel, good connectivity to the PC
Disadvantages: battery life is shorter than expected

...turn the wheel, hard to describe feeling. The menu is easy to navigate and the software is easy to use. The only nag is that the iTune software is trying to communicate with Apple from time to time and you won't know what actually it sent and received. This player can support AAC, MP3, AIFF, WAV, Audible, MP3 VBR, Apple Lossless format files with a reasonable size LCD screen. The sound quality is very good. Also, I like the USB 2.0 connection which is quite quick to transfer files to/from my PC. Its 42 g weight is virtually nothing in your pocket and it is as thin as a pencil, no need to strap it onto your belt. After 6-7 months of use, I have noticed that the battery has shown some signs of aging. The battery life is slightly shorter than expected now. I hope I don't need a new battery life when the 12 month warranty is up...

Review of Apple iPod nano 4 GB

iPod Mini Original 4GB - Largely a great player

Advantages: Small, lightweight; funky colours; easy to use
Disadvantages: Battery runs low quite quickly; ear phones leak a lot of sound

...and often they are not as good at first (although I'm sure by now there are other strong rivals to Apple). Also, I wanted something that looked stylish and contemporary and with the choice of colours (mine is pink), the iPod mini met that requirement. There are also a huge array of accessories available for the iPod mini meaning that you can improve and get the best out of your MP3 player, although at a cost. I would recommend either the 4GB or 6GB iPod mini because newer versions have supposedly addressed the battery life issue. The 4GB iPod mini available now has a longer battery life because my version was the first mini, so that part of the review probably wouldn't apply to new players (although I would still doubt that it lasts 18 hours, but maybe that long-haul flight!) Other than that and the larger storage, there isn't much difference...

Nano 4GB

Advantages: Tiny
Disadvantages: Scared it will snap!

...I bought my first Nano a week ago and have had to take it back to the shop to change it already. For some reason I had problems getting it to turn on sometimes but the shop exchanged it for me and the new one seems to be fine. To being with, it really is a small as the adverts make out, if not smaller. When I first saw it I was shocked! The 4GB can hold approx 1000 songs and can also store photos but this obviously takes up memory so the more photos you have, the fewer songs you can store. Apparently the first batch of Nano's had problems with the screen cracking and people have said to be careful of forgeting its in your pocket and sitting down. This didn't surprise me as it is so thin but I have sat on it a number of times! Once for 40 mins in a lecture and it has been fine! It does more than just store music and photos though...
