Targus Wireless Optical 5 Button Mouse

Advantages: very good charge time, good software, easy to install
Disadvantages: only one.........wish it had a metal shell

...Unlike other optical wireless Mice that require batteries, this mouse does not, it charges whilst you are not using it. It ahs its own cradle, so it charges via the computers? USB slot, saving you money on batteries. I brought this mouse after looking for an optical mouse that actually works, and properly. It was around £29.99; I brought it from Amazon in the end as it was easier to buy from there. Looking at other optical mice made me think, have I made the right decision? Well, fortunately, I had. I just plugged the mouse straight inot the computers? USB slot and I worked. There was an extra cd for drivers, needed by older operating systems and hardware; this cd contained also some software for the extra buttons, like the scroller. The nice looking cradle site by the side of my computer, waiting for me insert the mouse to lay...

Wireless mouse and keyboard from Microsoft

Advantages: Easy to install and responsive
Disadvantages: No Caps Lock key and the mouse wheel slightly hard to control

.... The packaging notes that the product is compatible with Windows 7, and also with Windows Vista and Windows XP. The Argos packaging came with a note saying that it came with a Microsoft two year guarantee, which I imagine is provided to all customers regardless of which retailer they purchase it from. The mouse has three buttons and three scroll wheels, and the buttons are programmable, so it's also handy that it's suitable for left or right handed people and seems to be quite robust. The mouse moved effortlessly with no sticking and no slow response times, which is the main requirement I could have with a wireless mouse. The only fault I've really found with the mouse is that it sometimes seems to scroll down the screen rather faster than I'd like, so I'm not always in control, but this isn't a major issue. My little mouse friend

Advantages: Buttons galore, responsiveness
Disadvantages: A little hyper sensitive

...it works, where it's responsive and whether it feels like it'll break down on me. And so far it's not broken down or failed to do what it's been told at any point, it's not felt like it's going to snap or crack. To answer whether it works, well yeah it does it's smooth goes where I want it too and is perfectly responsive, in fact perhaps a little too much so at times as it scuttles past where you want due to how well it picks up movement. It is one of the few highlights of the day in the office in which I work. Overall I feel there's much more the mouse has to offer than I can really see myself using it, not only in regards to the buttons on the side (which is why the mouse is actually a 5 button mouse, the 2 side buttons, the left and right ?buttons? and the wheel ?button?) but into how well it works for things like quick online...
