Logitech MM50
Advantages: built in rechargable battery
Disadvantages: no computer docking connection
...contemporary and is available in both black and white and is less than 3.5cm deep with bulit in strong swivel legs to stand it up. It also comes with a tiny remote control plus a carry case. The sound quality was very good with good bass response and clear high and mid tones. This item can also be used with anything with a 3.5mm jack (headphone plug) for other appliences like tvs laptop computer mp3 player dvd player ect. This item is well suited for anyone who wants to listen to music on the move, on holiday, in the garden, or just anywhere in the house without finding a plug scket spare or without needing any real amount of space. Best of all i came home and found this great item for on 35pounds on amazon and ordered mine straight away. never been happier....

The nikon 50mm 1.8 - a fantastic portrait lens
Advantages: great quality, low price, prime
Disadvantages: none
...As anyone interested in photography will know - lenses don't come cheap, especially quality lens, except this one.
The 50mm 1.8 has a reputation for quality at a reasonable price and it's a reputation well deserved.
Yes the 50mm is a 'small' lens but it's a prime lens.
Some may find that the need for them to move forwards or backwards to get the correct composition for a photograph is too irritating to make the purchase worthwhile over that of a zoom lens but the increase of quality combined with the price makes that an opinion that I beg to differ.
If you shoot portraits, or are looking to start then the 50mm 1.8 will prove an invaluable piece of equipment, but it's uses are not limited to portraits only.
At 1.8 the 50mm is a fast lens however it dies have a counterpart - the 50mm 1.4. The 1.4 is, by comparison, alot more expensive...

Possibly the best lens I own for my DSLR - The Canon 50mm F/1.8
Advantages: Lightweight, cheap
Disadvantages: None
...This is possibly the best lens I own for my Canon EOS 30D DSLR. (And for £65 what a bargain!)
This is an incredibly light lens, and as I understand it, it is made entirely from plastic. It might feel a little too light, but believe me, it's a well constructed lens which yields fabulous results. It's also very cheap in comparison to other prime lenses, and I would consider it much better value for money than the 50mm f/1.4
As a prime lens, 50mm fixed, f/1.8 it can be used in relatively low light without a flash since it lets so much light through to the camera... Shorter exposure times means your subject has less time to move. It also has a pretty shallow depth of field, so a perfectly focussed subject can have a wonderfully blurred background.
The tiny box this comes in contains the lens, front and rear caps, and a small leaflet...

Samsung PS50B451
Advantages: Brillaint TV
Disadvantages: Hard to get used to
...One of the TVs in my house has just been replaced, we was lucky enough to get a deal on the Samsung PS50b451 instead of it costing around the £700 asking price a friend of ours used her staff discount and along with some vouchers, the TV cost us around £350 which is brilliant for what it is. bit of a bargain actually.
I thought I would review it to see if it is actually worth the £700 asking price to those who aren?t as lucky as us to have a friend who works in a shop that sells them.
Why choose this one?
The reason that we choose this particular TV is that we wanted one in the 50 inch size range to replace the old one, and when we had a look at the range available we found that this one was not only the cheapest for what it is, but also we found that this one was the better looking of the three we narrowed our choice down to...

Ditch ur stock lens & buy THIS! 18-50mm f2.8 EX
Advantages: Lightweight, Compact, Fast f2.8 Aperature throughout the zoom
Disadvantages: Slightly Soft at f2.8, but manageable
...I bought this lens as a replacement for the 18-70mm f3.5-5.6 stock lens that came with my camera, and it was worth every penny.
The increase in image quality, sharpness and clarity of pictures has been amazing. No more fringing around the edges of bright distant objects. No barrel distortion at the very edges of the image. No plasticy cheap feel.
This lens is brilliant, especially if you don't want to fork out the enormous prices for Vibration reduction or Image Stabilising Lenses. (My camera has this built in anyway so ha!).
Having an aperature of f2.8 makes this brilliant for indoor work, as you don't have to use a flash, or push up the iso to noisy values to get sharp clear images.
For example, at 50mm, i can shoot at 1/40sec on this lens at f2.8, my old stock lens would have had me shooting at 1/10sec, which in low...

8mm DVD Review
Advantages: Characters, Tension.
Disadvantages: Not for everyone.
...Tense stuff. Just don't show it to the kids."The things I do--I do them because I like them. Because I want to.''
-- 'Machine' (Chris Bauer)
8mm exhibits bad taste and may be shocking to most people, but to me it felt like a movie with serious intent, especially seen as though it tracks the descent of Tom Welles (Nicolas Cage), as the ordinary guy, into the nasty, immoral world of underground pornography. The character, understandably, is tormented, mentally, as he simply cannot accept why all the evil surrounding him exists.
Notoriously panned by critics upon its release, this was by no means a milestone in the career of Cage, even though I believe it to contain ones of his most powerful performances. He plays a man dedicated, slightly obsessed, and deeply sickened by the events that unfold throughout his investigation into...

M&M'S FOR ME.
Advantages: Delicious and filling
Disadvantages: Nut allergy sufferers steer clear.
...---PEANUT M&M's---
Peanut M&M's are delicious. There is just something about the scrumptious crispy coatings and peanut centre that really go well together. Made by Mars incorporated, they have been in production since 1990.
---THE PRODUCT---
The M&M's come to us presented in a thick bright yellow plastic package. To the front of the packaging there is a selection of the candies all piled up. They show the different colourings of the M&M's. In large brown bubble writing you have the product name of M&M's in large brown letters held up by two of the M&M characters. The packet is bright, cheerful and eye catching, appealing to young and old. -
---THE M&M CHARACTERS---
The actual candies are colourful and fun. They have been given characters pertaining to colour. Starting with red; He is the leader of the pack - Yellow...

8mm Tapes are so last year!
Advantages: Good quality tapes that will work and last
Disadvantages: Very dated with better SD Card or Hard Drive options
...I initially wondered why people would be looking to buy these tapes, and if they do, whether it is time to update the camcorder to an affordable SD Card or hard drive version. However, if 8 mm tapes still rock your boat, then the Sony tapes work a treat.
There are two kinds of Sony 8mm tapes, the 60 minute (Pack of 3 = £11.99) and 90 minute (Pack of 3 = £21.99) and weigh about 200g per tape. These are lightweight and portable and come in sealed plastic casing with good design covering.
You can trust the Sony brand as a leading manufacturer in the video and audio market. The quality of the product is excellent and durable. It will fit snugly into the camcorder without sticking and you will be ready to go. The output very much depends on the quality of your camcorder. What goes in comes out. It will also make a difference if you...

The Canon EOS 50D superb image quality.
Advantages: Superb image quality, well built, High resolution, low noise, Excellent spec.
Disadvantages: Only minor gripes, no CF card included, large and heavy compared to some.
...to buy a more expensive wider angle lens to compensate for the difference in focal length, thus a 10 - 22mm ultra-wide angle zoom will become a very useful 16 - 35.2mm wide angle zoom.
The standard lens on a 35mm camera is 50mm which gives approx x1 magnification, but on these cameras, it is the equivalent of an 80mm portrait lens, 31.25mm would give you the equivalent of a 50mm lens (35mm equivalent) on these cameras.
The coversion factor for Canon cameras is x1.6 of the stated focal length, other camera manufacturers may vary, so it is best to check the manual of your camera first.
So if you are new to DSLR cameras, or are upgrading from a 35mm film camera, I hope this info will help you to make the right choice when buying extra lenses for your DSLR camera, because the difference between the actual and effective focal length...
