...The Sony Handycam DCR DVD505E is a digital camera which was designed for people to use with their hands. With this digital camera people don't need to have a stand (although stands can still be used). This digital camera has a fantastic 4.0 megapixel resolution and also is combined with a varition of angle views so that the person can view the pictures or videos at the best angle possible as sometimes a picture still can look better at a different angle. I have to say that the video recording function on this camera is fantastic and that the qulity played back is exceptional so for the people that like to create home movies you will be recording with 5.1 surround sound. Advantages: 3.5" screen;10x optical zoom and comfort in hand

...is of the highest standard and is activated by a rocking switch on top of the camera and can be easily applied during filming. If you'd rather not use the 3.5" screen the viewfinder comes with 123k pixels which enables you to see perfectly what you are taking a picture of. The screen is in a 16:9 ratio and offers more pixels than the view finder at 211k. However personally for some shots i find the view finder easier to steady my hand. Still pictures are taking in JPeg format and using the included leads can easily be transferred onto the computer. This can take some time if many photos are being uploaded at once. Remember digital photos can be send off to printed over the internet from as little as 8p per photo or less! ...I've had this for about two years now. It has never let me down and is probably the best dvd player i've used (although i don't use many others!). ---- LOOKS This looks like any other player. It is silver in colour. The front panel has a sliding port for the disc. There is also a black lcd display for details during playing (e.g. point in movie, etc). There is also a list of buttons which can be used in case the remote breaks down. These include: *POWER *EJECT *VIRTUAL SURROUND *STOP *PAUSE *SKIP *MENU & SETUP-INCLUDING NAVIGATION ARROWS. The player is quite small. But not as small as dvd players coming out today. It is about the same size as a vcr player (the new ones). Advantages: Very Similar to a Mobile Phone in Style
Disadvantages: Awkward to use for Text and very difficult to set up

...We bought this set of phones to replace a 3 way wired system in our house about 6 months ago. We actually purchased the system KX-TCD-505E ( Master and Slave ) from Comet. Which may mean something to anyone thinking of buying a Panasonic cordless digital phone. Otherwise put simply it is a 2 way DECT phone Digital system with no wires and can send and recieve Text messages. Still not sure if we made the right decision with these phones.. We send a lot of text messages on our mobile phones and thought this would be just as easy from a digital phone from home. Trust me. It is not. You have to register with a seperate user and it is really awkward to send and recieve text messages on this system. Hence. Nowdays we neither send or recieve any text messages on this system we still use our mobiles simply... Read review
