Electrostatic is like an electrical current which is charged by the handling of shopping bags, silk, balloons or any material capable of producing electrical currents. I'm not a Physicist, so don't laugh at something I haven't put properly, I'll try not to make those mistakes though. I don't have time being like Albert Einstein who constantly gets shocked by the looks of his messy hairstyle, maybe he plays with balloons?

Branded or Unbranded, that is the question
Review of Generic 128Mb PC-133 Dimms SDRAM by
Gowland
Advantages: Unbranded Memory is very cheap to buy
Disadvantages: Unbranded Memory can not be overclocked
...of Ram so low it is a good time to upgrade if you have less than 128Mb Ram in your computer.
Installing and upgrading your Ram is easy, let me explain.
First, check with your motherboard book to see which type of Ram is used on the motherboard. There are a number of variants, for example, Simm’s, Dimm’s and DDR memory modules.
Second, make sure that you unplug your computer so that the power to the computer has been isolated.
Third, unscrew the computer case and remove.
Four, you will see on the motherboard a Ram module already fitted, beside the existing Ram module their will be a spare slot, if you are using a Dimm module, all you have to do is open the two white clips at each end of the slot and gently slot the module in until it clicks into place. Please remember that these are electronic parts and care has to be taken...

**512MB memory all on a stick**
Review of Dell USB Memory Key USB flash drive - 512 MB by
1st2thebar
Advantages: A lot of memory 512MB worth
Disadvantages: It can get lost in a brief case
...**DELL USB MEMORY STICK**
-- USB Flash Drive 512 MB --
- Dell -
Dell is now the 25th most wealthiest corporation in the US. Why Dell has done so well is due to the smaller component sales -- such as the USB Flash Drive memory keys, among many other computer components. That is a digital USB device.
Dell was founded by Michael Dell in 1984 and was originally named 'PC limited'. At that time IBM was the main specialists in computer products and components worldwide. Michael learn't his trade by using IBM mainframe computers on processing speeds of only 2MHz. A 'MHz' is a tiny fraction of the kind of processor speeds that are in the market today. Dell's visionary could see beyond the systems he worked with and wanted to find away to quicken up data processing and so got to work on building a prototype. In 1985 he managed...

512mb memory unit - too small?
Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 Memory Unit - 512MB by
shamis4
Advantages: SMall and easy to take around with you and for storing game saves
Disadvantages: Expensive and a hard drive would be far more beneficial
...a hard drive for your xbox 360 in order to benefit from all that the console has to offer such as putting films and music on your console as well as getting all that the xbox marketplace has to offer such as arcade games, films, trailers, demos, originals, and so on. There is so much to download from the marketplace you don't want to miss out!
- 20gb hard drive - £64.99 play.com (just over twice as expensive as memory unit but with 40 times as much space)
- 120gb hard drive - £71.99 play.com (obviously the best choice with masses of space and a small increase in price)
I would possibly suggest getting one of these memory units (the 512mb ones) even if you already own one of the hard drives as it is great for taking your game saves around with you to a friend's house. Particularly as it is nice and small compared to the large bulky...

Sandisk 512Mb memory card
Review of Sandisk Securedigital SD 512 512 MB by
01zesty01
Advantages: Small, reliable
Disadvantages: The lock feature is delicate
...So the SanDisk SD flash memory card 512MB.
Well as a start like most memory cards these days , its nice and small ( perfect for getting lost if your not careful). Despite its size its nice and long lasting ( well mines still alive anyway..or it was the last time i used it) you get a ncie handy case, you know incase you like accidently sit on it or something.
So 512MB , its a pretty good amount of memory for camera use , but if you really do like to get out there and basicly film your entire life, you\'d probably be better off with more memory, i recomend the 1gb or 2gb sandisk memory card.
So what a lovely shade of blue, hmm, yes its a bit boring compared to other memory cards, but what do you expect, half the time you cant see it anyway because its inside a device.
I found that the card can be read and written really fast...

Phillips Gogear 512mb mp3 player
Review of Philips GoGear 512 MB SA177 by
chris_ray
Advantages: charge time, simple to use, nimble.
Disadvantages: 16 hours of play only possible with large and annoying battery pack!
...I really wanted an MP3 player. At the time the mobile phone MP3 players were pointless due to lack of space, being bulky, and basically rubbish quality meant a portable MP3 player for any music listener was a must. Looking around, there's always going to be the cheap gadgets on the market. I try and stay away for them because, even if they do what it says on the box, the actual quality of the amp on them is usually very bad quality, and they usually have poor battery life, which means charging them for longer than you're actually listening to them. However, Philips have a good reputation, so when the Philips GoGear 512MB Player came on at a good price, I thought why not?
And I haven't looked back. At around £40, a 512Mb player was especially good. Good battery (up to 8 hours of play) and charging (takes about 30 minutes for total...

Lexar JumpDrive USB 512mb
Review of Lexar JumpDrive Secure II - USB flash drive - 512 MB by
blackhawk204
Advantages: Portability, ease of use, money saver, plug-and-play.
Disadvantages: Small (ish) storage capacity.
...Lexar JumpDrive Secure ll is a USB flash drive with a good 512mb storage capacity.
It boasts plug-and play functionality, allowing you to pop it into any usb drive on a mac, pc or server and drag and drop files 'to and fro' as desired. (Ease of access depends on the o/s you have installed, i use both OSX10 and vista, both work great!)
Now 512mb isn't exactly the king as storages spaces go (you can get upto 8gb now!!!) but its perfect if you only transfer the smaller files such as word docs, the odd song or two. If you are moving larges directories then this isn't for you and would recommend you look at the size of file/directory you have and purchase accordingly.
Perfect for the school/college user and you can pick them up for around £5.00 give or take a penny or two, so it is hardly a wallet burner.
Lexar is a well trusted...

Philips GoGear 512 MB SA177 - Better Than An iPod?
Review of Philips GoGear 512 MB SA177 by
lfc-4-ever
Advantages: Great Slim Sleek Look, Very Modern
Disadvantages: Can Be Expensive
...For those of you who don't know what a MP3 player is here is a quick explanation. They are small devices which can hold loads more songs than your average CD. The Philips SA177 has a 512mb internal memory. That can hold about 250 tracks from CDs etc or 125 special MP3 downloaded tracks. You can of course have a mixture of both.
One of the main reasons I chose this MP3 player is because of its looks and size. I don't have a huge music collection so I did not see the point in getting an iPod. I decided to get a stick MP3 player. There are 3 advantages for getting this type of MP3 player they are, you can also use this MP3 player as a memory stick to carry all sorts of documents. You can also plug this player in to any ones computer and it will recognize it without the software.(this is really handy if you friend has an album...

Apple iPod Shuffle 512 MB
Review of Apple iPod shuffle 512 MB by
Nicola_r
Advantages: Small,light and affordable
Disadvantages: No display for songs list
...For a while i considered buying an iPod but have been detered by the size, wieght and price of the iPods that were currently out at the time,so for me it was ideal when the iPod shuffle was introduced.
The iPod boasts at being only 0.78 ounces and just 0.33 inches thin,so was ideal for what i was looking for in terms of weight and size.
Although 512 Mb is not as much as the shuffles predecessors, for my own use, (ie. traveling to and from work, running, going to the gym) it was enough to hold all my favourite songs.
The part I found daunting was setting my PC with the relevent software, but my worries were unfounded as the instructions were very clear and I found it very easy to set up.
Once the software was put onto the PC it was as easy as choosing the music you wanted, and clicking one button to transfer it to your i...
