...In short: Excellent router, easy to set up and good support from Netgear. I bought this modem router from Ebay to set up a wireless home network. Depsite paying AOL money each month and seeing new customers getting this router for free we were told that we would still have to purchase it separately. As this was one of the AOL compatible routers I plumped for it due to Netgear's good name. The router was installed easyily and using AOL software from their site my main computer was up and running using an ethernet cable. We did have a couple of problems setting up our two laptops to work wirelessly but one short call to Netgear and that was all sorted out. Buffalo WBMR-G54 wireless router - a real buffalo?

...I bought this router from a local Argos shop at an emergency situation i.e. I want it now and therefore not at the best price - 49.99. Reason: My all singing and all dancing Dynamode R-ADSL-C4W-EG - wireless router had lost its main function, 'internet connectivity' after a month or so of continuous use (see my other review, now updated, for details). All is left is wireless communication i.e. useless. The return of this router back to Amazon caused me a week (lots of emails + recorded delivery + check that the refund includes the recorded delivery etc) For Argos, there is an obvious advantage - if there is something wrong with it, I just take it back for a refund/replacement on the same day.
