...Ive had this item for about 14months now after upgrading from the K800. It has a slightly larger screen and the software has been updated so it is partially touchscreen. You can still use Micro SD card, use 3G, play Java games and use the phone as a walkman. It connects to your PC via USB and you can transfer data wireless via bluetooth. You can now also watch 3GP videos. On the whole it is a good phone. The drawbacks are that the buttons are a bit uncomfortable for texting, it occasionally switches itself on and off whilst playing music, and that you have to be careful when on the go as it connects to the internet at the touch of a button so make sure when its in your pocket that youve locked the buttons. A nice all round, versatile 5 MP camera

Advantages: Good value for money, lots of functions and presets, easy to use
Disadvantages: little bulky by todays standards, flash isn't great

...I received this for a birthday present 18 months ago as I had one of those advanced photo system (APS) cameras which are seriously over rated. I was the first one in the family to get one so we needed one for everyone to use which was good value for money (£150). First thing looking at it is that it's quite bulky by today's standards with slim cameras reaching 7MP easily. It's quite hard to take around on a night out; it doesn't really fit in a pocket or my girlfriend's small handbag. But don't let that put you off! One major difference from allot of other cameras I have used and seen is that there are 5 different presets which are easily selected by the wheel on the top rather than going through lots of menus. ...complained and the police had to been seen to be doing something about it. Since then every morning I see at least 5 cars doing what I did and getting away with it, how is that fair? If I complained about speeding motorists on my estate I wonder if they would do the same thing, somehow I doubt it. This illustrates perfectly the main problem I have with speeding, speed cameras and the way we are punished, it is completely inconsistent I know someone who was pulled over for averaging 98mph he was given a producer. The police need t concentrate on street crime and drugs let the speed cameras if they are put in the right places do the work for them....

...I purchased the original DMC-TZ1 when it first came onto the market a few years back and thought it was a great camera. But this one is even better! The 9.1mp makes for a good clear shot and the 12x optical zoom is amazing! Its the perfect camera for travelling - it can fit into your pocket or a going out bag ensuring you always have a camera to capture every moment. The zoom is the perfect added bonus. The only downside as I see it is the battery must be a specific type which isnt compatable with many other cameras. Having said that the battery is good quality and lasts for ages once charged. Because the battery is so specific to purchase a spare (which I would recommend for anyone travelling) isnt the cheapest....

Why I think, Speed cameras don't work

Advantages: Reduces speed temporarily, If used properly reduces accidents and deaths.
Disadvantages: Propaganda, Revenue raising, Being lied to and Targeted.

...Let me start my opinion by stating that I am employed in sales which requires me to drive many miles each week - usually around 2000 !! I have been driving since I was 17 (nine years) and I have never had any points on my licence or been involved in any accident. I consider myself an efficient driver, not faultless, but all the same experienced enough to have an opinion on the subject of speed cameras. Let me also state that I am 100% in favour of speed cameras in areas which need protecting like schools and pedestrian crossings for instance. The use of speed cameras in these areas as well as accident blackspots undoubtedly cuts down driver speeds and in turn cuts down the amount of injuries, deaths and accidents. No one in their right mind can argue against this issue and Police and driving groups are quite right to employ speed...
