Eight Hour Miracle Cream!

...Before I bought Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream I had read about it in magazines with lots of Celebrities citing it as one of there "Must have" beauty products. As ever my inquisitive nature took over and I decided to invest in a tube to find out what I have been missing. So of I went to my local Debenhams and asked the Beauty Advisor for a tube of this recommended cream. The Cream cost me £18 for a 50ml tube. I know this is also available at other department stores so it may be possible to buy this cheaper. The eight hour cream comes in an off white box with the Elizabeth Arden logo on the front. The actual tube is white in colour with black writing across the front and a screw top lid. Eight Hour Cream was developed by Elizabeth Arden over 70 years ago. 8 hours to smooth skin!

Advantages: fantastic product, cost effective, versatile, great results

...8 hour cream is one of those products beauty editors bleat about in magazines as being a "cult product." Having tried other "cult" products which were a waste of money ,I was sceptial when I purchased my 50ml tube of 8 hour cream from my local department store. I needen't have worried. I use other Elizabeth Arden products which have given great results (Extreme Conditioning cream is a great moisturiser). After handing over my hard earnerd £18 the sales rep from Elizabeth Arden gave me a leaflet explaining just how many uses this product has. I had learnt (from a beauty therapist friend) many years ago that putting a thin layer of Vaseline on your face at night means you wake up with baby soft skin. 8 hour cream has the same consistenecy/texture as Vaselie but smells nicer and has a few extra pampering ingredients. ... The Hours I simply loved this film, it's one of my most favourite movies ever! I've watched it repeatedly since its premiere I went to see to the cinema with my best friend. When we got out, we were both stunned and later she said she didn't know what was supposed to happen after the end of the film, whether we'd start kissing or if the world was just gonna end. I don't mean to be pathetic, but the emotional impression was really deep for me, too. Three women in their search for happiness reads the subtitle. We'll come to find the obvious - there is no such a perfect life or happiness, since the life always has new quests to drag us through and it's up to us to find something that can make us happy for a while. Difficult as it is, we'll see it on three examples. Performance I'm in love with Meryl Streep...

...This product is a must have!!It is definately worth the money. It comes in a little tube which can fit into your handbag so you can take it everywhere you go. It can be used for dry skin, eczema, chapped lips, and apparently even helps eyelashes grow. It is used by a lot of celebrities and I decided to try it out about a month ago. I can honestly say that I dont think I can live without it now. I even used it on on a blemish on my face that I had and it has started to fade out. It doesnt smell so great, but you can tell the cream is quality and hasnt got artificial fragrants added to it. You begin to notice the difference from the very first application. It is so versatile and actually lasts the full 8 hours or more. It is absorbed slowly which means once applied to lips as a gloss it lasts and there is no need for reapplication...

8 hour cream - not really the best thing for your face

Advantages: great if you intend to milk cows
Disadvantages: smell, balmy-thickness, terrible under makeup, better as lip balm

...I know a lot of people will disagree with this review, but having worked for Elizabeth Arden (amongst other beauty houses) I feel that the balm-like thickness, stickyness and smell of the 8 hour cream is probably not the best thing to put on your face for normal everyday use. I have seen it's benefits used in the short-term for severely dry or damaged skin, but for the normal, oily, or sensitive skins, I wouldn't recommend it for continued use. It's lovely for the hands, feet, elbows and other dry skin areas, don't forget that this product spawned from the idea of farmers softening cow udders from becoming chapped from prolonged use, and as most of us don't have faces that go through the rigors of cow udders being milked, it's probably not the best idea to use this on your face everyday if you have normal or sensitive skin as it's far...

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Intensive Body Treatment

Advantages: Super fast-absorbing and moisturizing without being greasy
Disadvantages: The cream is perfume scented which might make it non unisex.

It is a godsend if you want super-soft, super-moisturized skin without the grease-effect or feeling like the product is ?sitting? on the skin and for this reason I love using it on my face as well as my body. The cream is fast-absorbing and instantly makes my skin feel baby soft and supple without a trace of grease and gives a great base for my foundation to just glide on - you also don't have to wait before applying my foundation like other creams because it literally sinks in. I also use it on the backs of my hands, legs, feet and anywhere that needs extra attention and it leaves my body feeling really soft and pampered. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream - 101 Uses

...I had read about Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream many times in girls mags. It has always been hailed as a wonder product so I was curious to find out why. Now, I couldn't live with out it - I use it for everything. So what's it like? It comes in a white tube, the basic simplistic Elizabeth Arden packaging. It comes in a 75ml tube which costs about £15 depending where you buy it from. This tube lasts forever. Well, I've had mine since Christmas and there is still loads left. When you squeeze some out you'll notice that its not really a cream, it has more of an oily texture, is a brown colour & has a medical smell. The smell is the most off putting thing about it, but if you can get past this you will be glad of the benefits. So what are the many uses of Eight Hour Cream? Let me tell you... First and foremost you can use it...

So being a sucker for advertisement and word of mouth fantastic ratings from friends I thought I'd give it a whirl .... ..... I purchased this while working at Eurotunnel so I did get discount standard price in general isn't to pricey for what the product does, Never has it been truer you get what you pay for!! The product is packaged in a simple but elegant white tube with an easy access screw lid - I personally love the understated design - Buying the smaller version myself so it fit in whatever handbag I would chose to carry, nights out or days out this is a versatile product which covers a variety of beauty faux pas' A little of this product is more than enough ...by little I mean a miniscule amount...

8 Hour multi-tasking cream

...A friend introduced me to this cream while we were travelling on bisiness together to America. I am now a convert - I love the smell, although I do think it grows on you ... don't expect to love it at first sniff! But most of all, I love it for its multi-tasking uses. A brill lipgloss - I hate dry lips - and Eight Hour Cream lasts longer than the normal lip balm. Fantastic dry skin eliminator. Better than any other I have tried ... try it on your hands and feet overnight. Wear loose cotton socks / gloves and wake up feeling extra soft in the morning. The best athletes foot cure I've found. (I believe it was manufactured initially to soothe horses' hooves) For itchy rashes,mosquito bites and sunburn - this is your answer to all! Pack it into your holiday cosmetic bag before you leave. You'll be glad you did...
