A hoover will easily rid all the crumbs and a warm soapy sponge should see to the rest althouh the material is raised in areas and so it' shard to get all the bits out of the smaller spaces. Our car seat has survived 7 months so far and still looks as good as new despite various accidents (of the baby variety and not of car crashes!) The seat is suitable from birth, the head hugger makes even the tiniest newborn safe and secure. It is recommended to be used up until the baby is 20lb so approximately 9 months old which is way more than other car seats which usually go up to 6 months. Review of Maxi-Cosi Cabrio Car Seat

Seat 1.6 Cordoba - very reliable car

Advantages: Great boot room, air-con, handles well, service costs cheap, cheap to run
Disadvantages: Dealer network!

...I bought the car after it had an excellent review in one of the motoring magazines. I wanted air-con and a good size boot. I was also impressed by the fact that Seat and VW are virtually the same cars, but Seats are cheaper! I have now owned my car for nearly 3.5 years and done 45k miles. It's been a virtually trouble free period - in that time I have "broken" 1 fuse, the windscreen has 1 chip in it (but not in the MOT-critical region) and I have had 1 puncture. So you could say that 2 of those 3 problems could have happened to any case. The boot size of the car is excellent for a small saloon, it's cheap to insure and the mpg is not bad. The car come standard with air-con which not every manufacturer was providing 3 years ago. All of this means that I am nearly a very happy Seat customer! But would I buy another Seat having had...

...I bought this when I had my baby as it was apparently the best on the market and I really can't find fault with it at all it has been the most reliable of our baby products and can't rate it highly enough. This car seat is different from others as it is suitable for up to 9 months whilst the majority of others are just up to 6 months. The seat is well padded and has a 'head hugger' so it is safer for newborns. This headhugger can then be removed once your baby is big enough. The straps also can be adjusted once your baby grows so that it is still safe and comfortable. The straps are easy to use- at first they were fiddly but once you have the hang of them then you know what you're doing they're easy! once you have strapped your baby in you then pull on the straps to make them tight so that your baby is safetly in place...

Panasonic Lumix TZ6, Versatile compact with great image quality

Advantages: Fantastic little camera with 12 x zoom & 10.1MP (better than TZ5), but cheaper than TZ7

Safety 1st bath seat... OK for a wriggly baby!

...Bathing a baby can be difficult! Once they have outgrown a baby bath, then a baby bath chair.. what next? Now our son is at the crawling and standing up stage, bathing was a nightmare so our next investment was the Safety 1st Swivel Bath Seat. What is it?? The seat is blue and sturdy with suckers on the base and a coloured toy on the front. My son has never played with the toy, and in my opinion is very boring. The seat also swivels round so this is a plus for nosy babies! The seat is circular and smooth so no risk of accidents. Price This bath seat is a lot cheaper than other seats on the market aimed at 6 months +. It can be found for around £9.99, which I found to be very cheap so full marks for pricing. Brilliant infant car seat

Advantages: Excellent for safety, comfort and totally practical
Disadvantages: no negatives for this product

...I used this for my daughter and used it from birth right through to the upper weight limit which is actually higher than most other car seats in this category. She always seemed so content in it and happily napped when travelling. The sun canopy is excellent, great for protecting the baby when driving and carrying about. Sun canopy also stores away easily when not in use, remaining attatched but out for the way. I also bought the easybase which made loading and unloading baby from car very quick and easy - especially when its raining which it so often does here. Also purchased mosquito net & Raincover both excellent purchases and in the UK I certainly needed them. I liked the fact that there were internal pads that could be removed as she grew to enable more comfort and space for her within the seat. Covers are easily removed for washing...

Panasonic Lumix TZ6 - metal-bodied compact zoom

...I always find it a little strange when a company releases two similar models at the same time, especially when the price difference is only around £40. The Panasonic Lumix TZ6 and TZ7 are similar stable-mates, with the TZ7 being the superior of the two. Having said that, the extra features of the TZ7 are things I can quite comfortably live without, such as the superior video capability with stereo sound, an HDMI output, and the ability of the camera to recognise up to 15 of your friends when they appear in a picture. Why would I want that? I don't have 15 friends - and even if I did, I'm sure I could remember them myself! ...I bought this seat for my baby when he was able to sit up on his own and too big for the baby bath, so just over 6 months. I ordered it from John Lewis who had a good price, plus free delivery. The seat we received was blue and as we have a boy this was great. My baby had begun to splash around in his baby bath and so it had become a two man job, leaving both me and my husband soaked at the end, so moving to the big bath was definatelt called for. He took about 2 baths to get used to the seat, getting in and out etc and being in the big bath but after that he was away, and now loved his baths. The seat it very secure and easy to fit, it also turns so when hair washing etc you can do it form whichever angle is easiest. I have a fairly small bathroom to being able to move him around easily is ideal. We were also able to make bathtime fun...
