2008 BMW X6...is pure genuis

Advantages: Character of a coupe. With the genius of X-models
Disadvantages: The sticker price

...The car being reviewed here is the 2008 BMW X6. The BMW X6 I believe is defining a whole new vehicle category..it's the world's first the Sports Activity Coupe. In a nutshell it's the best of two world's. You have the high ground clearance, high seating position's, big wheels...in my view comparable to the BMW X5, but on top of all that for the first time you get the design, performance and the agility of a large coupe. Talking about the design this X6 does not only have Sport design elements. From its whole silhouette...its a real coupe. For example, when I look at the roof line, its not just the window graphics which is sporty. But from the highest point, above the drivers seat the roof line slopes gently towards the rear, which is a genuine characteristic of a coupe. Also I see there is lot's of "muscle" in the wheel arches...

Review of BMW X6

Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

Advantages: Latest Release of Mac OS X; Cheap for those upgrading from Leopard
Disadvantages: No support for PPC processor (which is understandable, however)

Overall if your moving from Tiger to Snow Leopard, it may be worthwhile with some of its cool new features - and because Tiger is getting a little old if I may say so myself - nevertheless, I think its a worthwhile upgrade for Leopard users, at around £25/$29 its worth it for the long run. If your transitioning from a PC to a Mac with Snow Leopard, I'm sure you'll appreciate the graphically stunning interface although may take some time to get use to the differences. The major difference is the mouse tracking speed; each operating system uses a different tracking algorithm - Windows uses a different algorithm to Mac OS X. Mouse tracking / speed may take some time to get use to in OS X, due to OS X's different algorithm....

Review of Mac OS X (v10.6) Snow Leopard

Panasonic Lumix TZ6, Versatile compact with great image quality

Advantages: Fantastic little camera with 12 x zoom & 10.1MP (better than TZ5), but cheaper than TZ7
Disadvantages: No HD movie mode, not very cheap

... There are very few other 12 x zoom compacts (I can only think of the Canon PowerShot SX200 IS), so the Panasonic Lumix TZ range pretty much has the market to itself. The TZ6 has the advantage over the TZ5 with and extra 1 megapixel and 2 x zoom, as well as a slightly different styling. As far as I have seen the TZ6 is not thatmuch more expensive than the TZ5, so I found it worth getting the newer model. The TZ7 is the most recent release in the series and is almost exactly the same as the TZ6 both with 10.1 MP and 12x zoom - having seen them together in a shop, they look like carbon copies. The main difference on the TZ7 is the new HD movie mode, which is a feature I would like, but I can't justify spending a significant amount extra for this one feature, as still image quality is the most important aspect for me. K6-x's UNCOVERED

Advantages: Top of the Socket 7 processors
Disadvantages: Rare, and difficult to find, and no longer worth the upgrade.

My Sagem My X-6

Advantages: Trendy, Looks good, easy to use
Disadvantages: Poor camera, very few games

...I had been stuck with a Siemens C45 phone for quite some time before purchasing the Sagem My X-6. I had been disappointed at the lack of features and 'coolness' the Siemens C45 contained, and, after months of stick from peers, I decided to invest in a brand new top-of-the-range phone. I never thought I could afford a colour-screen camera phone for around £100, but my wishes had been granted once I scoured the internet and found the Sagem My X-6. A week or two after ordering the Sagem My X-6, it arrived on my doorstep. As soon as I saw it I fell in love with it. I hardly had to read the manual, as the phone was so simple and easy to use, yet it had a good range of features to keep me entertained for a few hours! I loved how clear and colourful the screen was, and enjoyed browsing through the wide selection of wallpapers...

Panasonic Lumix TZ6 - metal-bodied compact zoom

Advantages: Sturdiness, Ease of use, Autofocus Tracking
Disadvantages: Overshadowed by the TZ7, Tries to do everything for you

...I always find it a little strange when a company releases two similar models at the same time, especially when the price difference is only around £40. The Panasonic Lumix TZ6 and TZ7 are similar stable-mates, with the TZ7 being the superior of the two. Having said that, the extra features of the TZ7 are things I can quite comfortably live without, such as the superior video capability with stereo sound, an HDMI output, and the ability of the camera to recognise up to 15 of your friends when they appear in a picture. Why would I want that? I don't have 15 friends - and even if I did, I'm sure I could remember them myself! The TZ6 is aimed at people who want to take nice pictures but don't really want to know how those pictures are achieved. ...you're on the (excellent) bluetooth hands free kit. The problem seems to be a lack of isolation from the front and rear suspension assemblies. We replaced all four tyres with Pirelli's and things improved but not by a great deal. The automatic transmission works well most of the time and changes are always smooth, although it does hunt up and down the five speeds on long hills. There is a manual mode using the Jaguar J gate, but it's not as pleasant to use as the steering wheel buttons or paddles competitors now have. Fuel consumption is really poor. However I drive the car, I can seem to better 24.5MPG, and this is not acceptable when compared to other modern V6 powered cars. I think it must be due to the weight and the relative lack of power. Advantages: Good price
Disadvantages: Low resolution

...This is projector is affordable but still has some positive features. The resolution of 1024 x 768 allows clear projection with much detail. However if you are interested in High definition or multimedia i would not recommend this. However for business or education this is perfect. The 2200 ANSI Lumens allows the pictures to be very bright in well lit conditions. It was very easy to set this up and epson provided all the cables in needed. This epson website is also very helpful for driver and software updates. Even though this is not a DLP projector i think this projector meets its demands nicely and is a good price. Other products to consider would be the Optoma range since they also are very good....

It's also got the clear acrylic dust collector that everything swirls around in when it's in use.
