...is easy to install, a tiny chip just slides into the base of the phone and is automatically recognised. It took me all of 3 seconds. In the box is the battery charging cable, a USB cable so that you can connect the phone to your PC so that they can "talk" to each other - this also charges the phone-battery. All this comes together with a CD to install the software - which I found very easy to do. There's a set of earphones with a microphone attached so that you can use the phone hands-free or to listen to MP3s you store. The D600 also supports something called PicBridge for direct printing of images to compatible printers. So this is not just a phone, it's also a digital stills camera, video camera, MP3 player, a calendar, timer, alarm, web browser, a games machine and a storage device where you can store images, voice memos, music files... Advantages: Lightweight, nice clear colour screen, flip phone means screen doesn't get scratched!

My only main complaint about this phone would have to be the battery life - great if you leave the phone on standby, but terrible the moment you make (or take) a phonecall. I have had several experiences where I have used almost half the battery in a 20 minute phonecall, meaning I have to recharge the phone. Which leads me to my next problem with the Z600. The charger, although very quick when working properly, is a bit erratic to say the least, and sometimes stops charging within 5 minutes, when clearly the phone isn't fully charged. I thought this may have just been a problem with my charger, however my brother, who owned the same handset and also works in a mobile phone store, informed me that several people, including himself, have experienced this problem. ...The decision to purchase a Samsung D600E was probably my best to date. As allways Samsung's design and software completely sold me!. The D600E is a very stylish phone with a great design. The visual design is quite sleek, the phone is black with quite a large screen. the square central button below the screen provides easy navigation in the menu and has the usual surrounding buttons, the answer button, the end call button a cancel button and 2 shortcut menu buttuons. The D600e is a sliding phone, slides up to reveal the keypad this is quite a good function as when you slide down after a call the front keys automatically lock. The screen has a side menu with 5 icons. Call Register, Messaging, Calender, Camera and Wap. ...I was nearing my contract renewal and I decided to go have a quick peek at the phones available out there. I did have an idea of what I fancied but those ideas changed as soon as I caught sight of the gorgeous new Samsung U600. Now I know Samsung make the best phones but this was something new. ...I decided I wanted a new mobile phone. I checked the internet to see what was on the market and what other people considered to be a good phone. I decided on the Samsung U600. What I liked about it was, it's very stylish, I liked the slide feature and the fact it was a very slim phone, it only about 10.9mm thin. The features on this stylish phone are endless. The camera is a 3.2 mega pixel camera. It has an FM radio and a music player and you are able to connect to the internet. Some of the features: Call log, phonebook, music player, browser, messages, my files, calendar, camera, applications, alarms, bluetooth, games and settings. ...The motorola V600. General. It is a good size, and the flip open / close features ensure no wasted money on phone calls made by mistake. This also means that your friends and family don't get annoyed! The most irratating thing is teh buttons on the side, these when pressed change the ringtone options, and often result in a annoying bleap. This happens frequently and without warning whenever the phone is placed in a pocket containing anything else. Text mesage. The predictive text is very useful, and prevents the annoying and I feel irratating current trend in text messages. The ablity to send the same message to a whole group of people is fantatsic and as saved me doing multiple messages. Blue tooth. ...Being a confirmed gadget freak and realising I had not changed my mobile phone for at least six months I decided it was high time to put that right. ...is fairly easy to navigate, particularly once you've mastered the keys and shortcuts. The touch-sensitive buttons do take some getting used to, but after a few days you quickly get the hang of it. It's a highly customiseable phone; the menus, sounds and overall feel of the phone can be adapted to your preferences. You can set your own sounds/mp3s as a ringtone or message tone, which I'm aware is nothing new to most people, but I love it! Now, I can praise this phone all day, but there are some negatives which I've noticed using this mobile - nothing's perfect, after all!! The battery life is nothing exceptional. If you make a lot of calls, you will have to charge this phone once every two days or so.
