Nokia 6700 Classic Mobile Phone Reviewed

Advantages: It feels solid and robust owing to its slender design and stainless steel construction.
Disadvantages: TFT display of 2.2 inches; 320 x 240 pixels is small for mapping purposes and web browsing

...I received the Nokia 6700 classic (all in black, including keyboard and backplate) as part of an Orange contract upgrade. The main features of the phone can be found on the Nokia website at http://www.nokia.co.uk/find-products/all-phones/nokia-6700-classic so I'll concentrate on the phone as a user. Over the years of owning a number of mobiles ranging from Motorola, Samsung, Philips, Sony Ericsson and Nokia I have generally preferred Nokia, mainly beacuse of the simplicity of the S40 user interface, which is very user friendly and simple in approach. The main points about the Nokia 6700 classic in my opinion are listed below: Good Points It feels solid and robust owing to its slender design and stainless steel construction. The kepad is easy to ease, so too is the navigation button. The built in GPS receiver and maps are...

Review of Nokia 6700 classic

I wouldn't have signed a contract for this..............

Advantages: Not a lot really
Disadvantages: Drags, below par acting, unbelievable bits

...It's not often that a film with big names slips past my radar, but The Contract is certainly one that went unnoticed by me. Released in 2006, the film was a bit of a flop, despite having Morgan Freeman and John Cusack as its top billing stars. So, why wasn't it a success? And was it unfairly a disappointment, but really a hidden gem? Well, I can certainly eradicate this second question: it's not a gem. The film starts off with a few scenes to explain to us that ex-cop Ray Keene has recently lost his wife to cancer. Struggling to cope with the loss is their teenage son, Chris, getting into trouble with the law. Elsewhere, contractor Carden is planning his next assassination, with his team of ex-military mercenaries. The two stories converge when a captured Carden ends up being caught and transported to jail, the car crashing in...

Review of The Contract (DVD)

This is what happens when you don't read your contract!

Advantages: Good cast but unfortunately even they can't save it
Disadvantages: Story, action, script... need I go on?

...luckily for me it was simply that this is such a dire film! The story, although there?s nothing stand-out about it could have been quite good and on the premise of what was going to happen I decided to stick with it but unfortunately this film seems to disappoint every way you look at it. It?s one of those films that isn?t bad enough to turn off although you really want to yet you want to keep watching, not to see what happens but because if you manage to sit through until the end of it you can see it as some sort of big achievement. Much like me managing to miraculously sit through Lord Of The Rings or Star Wars! Luckily The Contract doesn?t quite fit into the category as those two hideously bad films however it doesn?t do itself any favours in the form of being associated with them. I used the term ?luckily? very loosely in...

Contracts of an Evil Mind

Advantages: Great Fun, Multiple Pathways
Disadvantages: Lots of Remade Missions from H1, Graphics use same engine as H2

...Introduction to the World of Hitman Contracts Hitman Contracts is the 3rd instalment on the highly successful Hitman series, staring No. 47 as everyone's favourite bad guy. Yes, in Hitman Contracts you are actually playing a bad guy, but the good news is he is a bad guy who really only kills other bad guys! Unlike many other games Hitman: Contracts is unique, there are multiple pathways to complete your objective, as well as the gun-hoe, silent assassin approaches, you can also take different routes through buildings, pick up different disguises and roles within a mission, and do the objectives in basically any order you want. This multi-pathway, makes Hitman Contracts extremely addictive and means it has hours of replay value. It also allows the player to use his or her imagination to find a route, as it is not at all obvious...

Yamada DVX-6700

Advantages: It plays EVERYTHING
Disadvantages: Cheap construction

...My Christmas present to myself this year was the ?Yamada-DVX-6700? ? which looks like a DVD player, works rather like a DVD player but offers a special something extra - this unit not only plays DVDs but many other digital formats too. The device cost me ~£55 ? to make it price comparable with other DVD players? It replaces a CyberHome ?CH DVD 400? which only plays bone-fide DVDs ? and cost the same 18 months ago. The build quality of the Yamada is best described as ?cheap? ? but? don?t get me wrong ? it looks OK next to the TV ? only if you look closely is it obvious that every component has been made to the tightest of budgets ? everything from the flimsy eject-tray to the front-panel plastic buttons and cheesy digital display which might have looked modern in the 1980s. To criticise the unit on aesthetics, however, is to...

Hitman Contracts

Advantages: Hitman on PS2!
Disadvantages: The enemy AI can be annoying and maybe it could have been a bit longer

...This is the first Hitman title I had ever bought for my PS2 and I certainly don't regret it. You are Agent 47 a silent assassin for Diana and the agency. There are 12 contracts to undertake in the game all are pretty good. The game is based around this level element with no other modes in the game apart from training which is dull. You start off at an Asylum and you have to escape. What is fun about this game is being able to choose the route throughout the level you want to take. You could go all guns blazing and kill everyone in sight you will get a mass murderer rating if you do this and that isn't good. You should try and be as stealthy as you can and you will be rewarded with new weapons if you complete the contract with the rating Silent Assassin. Here are the weapons available in the game Pistols and Handguns: These...

Review of Hitman: Contracts (PS2)

Contracted to Kill, Contracted to repeat itself!

Advantages: Decent stealth action, when on the harder settings, some nice weapon choices, non linear gameplay.
Disadvantages: Hardly any different from Hitman2 and now its looking a little dated, Poor AI.

...INTRO: Hitman III: Contracts makes little effort to disguise its name, but why should it? It?s bloody brutal and cunning and mostly straightforward, like the title. For those of you who don?t know this is the next in the line of the greatly mediocre series of Hitman games, the last being 'HITMAN 2 : SILENT ASSASIN' This came out in 2002 and they revolve around you, playing agent 47 who believe of not is a hitman hired to do various contracts and missions. The only problem with Hitman 3 Contacts is that it feels almost the same as Hitman 2, which felt almost the same as the first. However the storyline is unique and interesting so let?s have a look at it. STORYLINE: Agent 47 suffers a terrible injury on one of his missions and has flashbacks of some of his previous missions, these of which you play in the game. These are...

Review of Hitman: Contracts (PC)

Revolutionary? (yes, but only without contract)

Advantages: touch screen, coolness, wxtra apps (if unlocked)
Disadvantages: camera!!! Contract

...A great phone? in my opinion yes! (but not when locked to a contract) i refuse to pay about £1000 for an 18month contract which isnt all that good, where you cant add any extra games, or ringtones etc so i got mine in the uk in october for about £250 with NO Contract, and unlocked it GENERAL Ipod mine is an 8gb, for many space is a problem, but i previously used 4gb nano, so im fine, half is for music, half is for dvds, about 5hrs, and with a good converter, the pictures look amazing on the brilliant touch screen, coverflow, with flicking of album covers, is just plain cool, and agin, useful, impressive? the ipod feature is the best i have found so far from apple Screen this touch screen is not just a gimick, it actually makes the phone easy to use and is the main reason for me buying! you wont realise until you have...

Crazy Contracts

Advantages: Helped bowling attack
Disadvantages: Keeping batsman out of form

...The ECB's recently introduced system of central contracts for England players has potential to work. At the moment though there are too many flaws in the system that can be branded as just crazy. It is a good idea to financially compensate county's for having the absence of their star players. It is also a good idea to be able to rest players at key times. The problem is the ECB seem to be overkeen to rest players. The policy of resting the bowlers showed its rewards, with Caddick and Gough bowling well uninjured for the whole series. The problem is when they decide to over-rest the batsman. It is understandable resting bowlers who will get injured for bowling long spells, but how often does a batsman get injured (apart from finger injuries) during a long innings? It is more important to the batsman to be practising in the middle to...

Review of ECB Cricket Central Contracts

Keep moving...

Advantages: Scenic, lots of action
Disadvantages: Weak characters

...I rented this film recently, but I had heard very little about it & chose it on the basis of the actors, title & how recent it was. To be honest, I was just curious. Story First we are introduced to a criminal group - ex-military, now assassins, with one new member, preparing for their next mission. They kill a very wealthy man - son of a billionaire & the next victim in their plan. The motive of the killing is connected to the opposition of stem cell research, but little is really mentioned on this as the killers are contract killers so purely doing it for the money. The client is not, to my memory, mentioned. Cardin, the leader of the group then finds himself in a nasty car accident & awakens in hospital handcuffed to the bed. Suddenly the group's plans are at stake. The newcomer seems reluctant to continue, but the remaining...
