It?s hard now to imagine life prior to the digital camera.
I fear that there are many younger people reading this review that may not even remember that dim and distant past. The time when you ended up with hundreds of out of focus pictures, decapitated grannies or drawers full of films waiting to be taken for development!!

Review of Samsung S760

...I recently upgraded some of our computers at work to Dell Optiplex 760 systems. I chose the small form factor design so as to limit the amount of space the units take up on desks. A few months down the line I am impressed by the performance of these machines, as there have been relatively few issues, although, notably, some rather serious and immediate issues with machines that had only just been received.

The Dell Optiplex 760 looks smart, gives a good impression, and can be used upright or on its side. When I purchased these machines from Dell, I opted to not receive new monitors as it seemed a false economy to be buying additional monitors when people have their own monitors that still work fine from their previous machines.

...I bought a Garmin 760 GPS receiver for my car I had not had a satellite navigation system before this but had been borrowing my brother in laws for when I went on business trips. These are a brilliant devise you just put the postcode, town and other information in as to where you want to go and it will voice guide you there and also show you your route on the screen. It also shows other useful information such as time, how long it is going to take to get there, what time you will arrive and how many miles it is to your destination. So you will never be late for a meeting again and can plan routes with this amazing device.
The Garmin 760 that I have came from Halfords and cost £250 the sales people in Halfords got it out of the display cabinet and showed me how to use it and all of the features it has, they also offered to install it...

THE PHONE
I got this phone about a year ago- from a car-boot! It cost me a fiver, However if this one breaks i'll definately replace it from Argos, where they are priced at around 22 pounds - which is a fab price considering they feature an answering machine.
The phone is black and silver in colour at the front and plain black at the back, The charger dock is also black and silver, with two lights on the front. The green one is to tell you that the phone is on the dock- although there is a loud beep that also tells you its connected on the cradle correctly. The red light is telling you that the phone is being charged or if the light is off, its telling you that its fully charged.
The keys are soft and made from rubber, making it an easy phone to use when dialling.
Its a cordless, Digital...

Review of Binatone MA 760

Now the phone itself is good, it has a standard sony interface which has been he same for years meaning if your used to Sonys you'll not have any issues...! The battery is excellent and unlike some phones doesn't need charging every night, and even when used for texting constantly doesn't run out quickly!! Also the charger and accessories are interchangable between most sony ericsson models so you don't have to keep buying new accessories.
The camera is ok, but is fiddly when switching to different modes...but it does have different modes and pics can be saved to the computer via USB lead. The internet is also better and quicker than earlier models.
But thats where the good...

...we decided to purchase a seperate tumble dryer this time and finally decided upon the Hotpoint TVF 760.
Why?
We also purchased a washing machine at the same time (see my review!) so I wanted the tumble dryer to match. The Zanussi was built in and couldn't be seen, but both these machines are free standing so looks were fairly important! The price we were offered on the washing machine was too good to turn down, especially as we liked the look of it, and this tumble dryer looks fairly similar and was again offered at a discounted price through my husbands employers. Our original choice was £15 cheaper, but out of stock, so we kind of opted for this one as we just needed the machines as soon as possible, but it also has more selections on it and a digital display. ...I needed a new telephone for home and I do like the freedom of having a cordless phone. I had some Argos vouchers available so I looked through their catalogue to see what was available. I saw the Binatone MA760 telephone at £36.63 (reduced from £54.95) and I must say I liked the look of it. It is a stylish black and silver coloured handset with good sized keys and a clear screen but is small enough to fit into a pocket so I was keen to find out more about it.
I have had Binatone telephones in the past and been very satisfied with them so I had no qualms about the make but I was curious to see what features were available on this telephone.
This telephone offers Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication (DECT) - sounds complicated but basically means you have quite a good range and can wander about using the telephone...
