Ebuyer 7" Digital Photo Frame with remote

...I was looking to get a good quality, but fairly cheap 7" digital photo frame to give as a gift to some relatives. I came across Ebuyer whilst looking and decided to place an order for 2 as they were priced at just £30 each. I saw a similar frame in Curry's for £50 & those ones did not come with a remote!!. Ebuyer also offered a free delivery service to any order that's placed over £50 which is nice, however the delivery time stated is anytime between 1 & 5 working days. Overall I am pleased with both the frames and with Ebuyers ease of ordering. The frame has 2 small mounting holes so that they can be mounted on a wall, but note that the adaptor wire will dangle. I have placed my frame in my dining room cupboard. It is advisable to order a memory card along with the frame so that you always have a card for the frame and for your camera...

Perfect alternative to normal 'processing' cameras

...Durign the summer I was given a Fujifilm DX7 as a present, after the original owner got a new digital camera. I have to say that the camera works very well. One of the things I like most is the easy of use, just turn the knob to whichever function you require. For example, some features include: - Normal Mode (stores shots isntantly into the memory) - Preview Mode (lets you preview the shot before saving it) - Macro Mode (suitanble for close-up shots, blurry otherwise) There's also a 10 second timer, which come in very useful for group photographs that you need to be in! The camera feels good to hold, the ergonomics have been considered by Fujifilm when designing it. It also has a good weight and carrying strap. The built-in LCD monitor lets you look at what you're about to snap, and you can delete selected photos if you wish...

I'm not really sure why I was surprised, I'd used Play.com many times before, and often found that they had pretty good value. ...Overall the service from Pixmania is very good. Your order on the web quickly and easily and it's delivered within a few days. The only problem was with a 7" digital photo frame that I ordered. Firstly they ship (the frame) from France and you have to pay a small fortune for that. Secondly the item came with a continental plug. I called them directly and they gave me 2 options - buy an adaptor and they'll refund me £3 or they will send one. I chose the latter and it should be here in a week or so? I also bought a dishwasher and that was delivered via the Currys/Dixons/ DSG network within 2 days. No problems with that item. Their delivery Guys are 1st rate. Give you a hand in and take away the rubbish. Nothing untoward and I would recommend them as I have now used them 3 times with no major issues....

Always the way, but whenever I go shopping for something electrical, some guy in a suit always sways me towards something different.
