Advantages: Easy to use, big screen, good sound, camera & picture quality Disadvantages: joystick non responsive sometimes, freezing, casing chipping
...I got this phone as an upgrade last year in december, I love the phone and it's brilliant it's easy to use so much so infact even my mum can use it which is a small miracle.
I only found a couple of problems with it
a: the covering on the buttons tends to flake off easily
b: The joystick doesn't always respond
c: it has froze up on me a couple of times
d: it has no light function (only flash for camera)
But saying that they are superficial problems, I find the text messaging is easy to use as is sending pictures and camera on the phone is absolutely brilliant and prints out brillaint quality 6x4 pictures and 7x5 it also has an mp3 player which has come in very handy, and the sound quality is very good also...
Advantages: Professional A2 printing for under £1000. Disadvantages: Large size, but not compared to other A2 printers
...Before buying this printer I used a professional lab for all my work. I was never really happy with the quality of black & white digial prints on colour paper.
The black & white prints from this printer are as good as I could get spending hours in the darkroom. The quality is amazing. Colour is great too, especially from Adobe 1998 RGB files. The output closely matches my monitor using standard printing profiles.
The prints should last at least as long as those from a photographic lab and the quality far outshines anything I got back from my pro lab.
You can print borderless prints from 7"x5" up to A2, although I find it more economical to print smaller prints together on a single sheet of paper and then trim them later.
Ink cartridges are around £35 for 80ml of ink, this works out far cheaper than the cartridges...
Advantages: good choice of photo sizes, good prices for next day printing Disadvantages: no instant printing (at least one hour for most items)
...at what size and when you want to pick them up. The options for size include all of the standard photograph sizes such as 6x4 inches, 7x5 inches, 8x6 inches, 9x6 inches, 10x8 inches, 12x8 inches etc. Printing can be done in as little as one hour but the prices are cheaper if you order them for the next day.
Prices are also cheaper if you print more photos in the same transaction (there's usually a large reduction in price if you get more than 50 photo's printed at once).
If you are a member of Jessops Picture House online store you can also upload the pictures from the machine to your account.
The prints that I have had done there have been exceptionally good quality with vibrant colours and on good quality paper. The first time I got pictures developed through those machines were about 4 to 5 years ago and the colours on those prints...

Review of Jessops
Advantages: Simple but educational. Disadvantages: None.
...This was one of my favourite books when I was younger and when my sister bought it for my son, it became one of his. The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle is a board book designed for young children, following the life cycle of a caterpillar in very simple terms. It has holes on most of the pages allowing the child to stick their finger in it, something that most love doing.
The Book.
* * * * * * * *
When I had this book as a child it was much bigger, funny that isn`t it, things get smaller as you get bigger. However, I discovered that it is available in two versions, this is the smaller one, which is around 7x5 inches. It is big enough for the child to see and hold and is hard and chunky enough to be handled frequently. The small book is priced at £4.99. Some people may prefer the bigger book, the smaller one...
Advantages: They do unique gifts as well as just pictures Disadvantages: none
...I was originally told about Snapfish by a family member as I was always saying that I never get the photos on my digital camera developed.
I went and had a look at the site & signed up straight away & it gave me 20 free prints, its a brilliant idea, you can upload you pictures into various folders & then pick which ones you want developed, how big you want them:
6 x 4 - 9p each, 7x5 - 19p each, 8 x 6 - 40p each, 10 x 8 - £1.20p each,
12 x 8 - £1.20p each & a set of wallet prints are 99p for four. Once you have decided which ones you want and what size you check out, pay for the prints & they are usually delivered within a couple of days.
You can also have a selection of gifts made on this site, photo books, mugs, posters, keyrings, magnets, stationery, canvas prints, clothing, mousemats & the list goes on and on, you pick a picture...

Review of snapfish.co.uk
Advantages: viewfinder, flash, adjustable iso and white balance Disadvantages: low megapixels, noisy in low light, heavy, poor battery life
...The sony cyber-shot dsc-p71 is getting on in years and while it may have been an excellent compact digital camera in its day it is now past its best.
Negatives:
The camera is only 3.2 mega pixels - this is very low compared to modern camera's but still adequate for regular size prints eg. 6x4 and 7x5.
Unfortunately the camera takes 2 double AA batteries - while these are cheap and easy to obtain they don't last very long and as a consequence battery life is very poor versus that of other types.
For a compact it's very heavy and 'chunky' with only a small screen for viewing.
In low light conditions I've found it performs very badly (I'm classifying low light as pretty much anything other than sunlight, and not using flash) - the images are very 'noisy'.
Uses a sony memory stick - not the easiest of memory sticks to get hold of...
Advantages: Great value, good quality prints, well desgined website Disadvantages: wonky borders, some problems with low resolution prints, 'gift' items are expensive
...range of 'photobooks' you can create. these are designed to replace the traditional photo album. You can choose the order and write captions for each photos in a photobook and choose form of sizes, styles and covers. They also offer many other items including calenders, mugs, clothes bags, posters and stationery. They all look good and make excellent gifts, but I haven't actually bought any of the above because I find them too expensive.
Pricing
I have found the pricing to be reasonable and competitive for internet services of this type, and significantly cheaper than digital photo printing services found in shops (e.g. Boots and Jessops)

...see what the prints are like.
Once you have signed up you are ready to start uploading photos. This can be a slow process unless you install the quick uploader, (which I have done and it makes uploading photos much quicker and easier.)
You can get 50 free prints for each friend that signs up to snapfish through you. I've invited a couple of my friends but neither of them have signed up yet so I haven't received any free prints.
You can order photos and gifts and I've ordered both from this website. Photos come in various sizes (from 3x2" to 12x8")but personally I've only ordered 6x4 and 7x5, both of which have been of consistent high quality. I used to pay each time I ordered prints but I now use the pre-pay service.
The pre-pay service is as follows:
250 6x4 prints 7p each £17.50 saving 22%
500 6x4 prints 5p...

Advantages: Very cheap; exceptionally good quality prints Disadvantages: none yet
....
With no preparation, you simply upload the pictures to a free "album" and use the simple web interface to make your order. It is nice that options such as glossy/matte white borders/no borders are free and easy to control - as is the option to crop your images as you choose.
I placed the order late on a saturday night and received the photos thursday morning - despite the fact that the photos were shipped from New Jersey, USA, and that postage costs are fixed at just 99p. The sturdy packaging was truly excellent and was probably worth more than the value of my order. Certainly, the postage alone would have cost winkflash well in excess of the cost passed on to the customer ($9 is quoted on the envelope). The value is tremendous: 9p for a 6x4" and just 15p for a 7x5". Even a 10x8" picture - £4 in Boots - cost just 99p.
Considering that...
