Advantages: Image adjustments to give great view, waterproof, adjustable eye-relief
Disadvantages: fixed magnification, average build and design quality

...the binoculars specifications it said 2-8x zoom, only then would it be possible to change magnification from between a 2x zoom to an 8x zoom. The fixed magnification on this particular binocular can be seen as a disadvantage, this is because if you are fairly close to an object, and the 8x zoom is restricting full viewing of the object than you would not be able to reduce the magnification. The only possible solution would be to move further back or buy some binoculars which allow magnification modifications. Although, 8x zoom on a binocular is hardly professional, professionals tend to use binoculars with higher magnification prowess such as 15x zoom - 25x zoom. Canon's sharpest zoom is a rock, or brick

Advantages: Awesomely sharp. Wide Aperture gives great control. Great colour.
Disadvantages: A little fragile. Would prefer with Image Stabiliser.
