Budget card performs beyond basic expectations!
Review of XFX GeForce 8500 GT by
arry2007uk
Advantages: Budget, Supports Modern Titles, Sturdy, No Overheat
Disadvantages: Struggles with Crysis, A little Loud, Not an 8800 GTX!
...somewhat best to mention it.
For two weeks I have playtested the XFX 8500GT 512MB for periods of up to six hours - I've thrown every game I own at it, with only Crysis being forced onto it's lower spectrum of settings. Bioshock plays smoothly at full capacity and looks absolutely stunning, so does Call of Duty 4. All-in-all this card isn't without faults but it outperforms my expectations and plays all current new releases, so in my humble opinion this card deserves a big thumbs up for its sheer value for money!
This card and all play tests have been tested on an Intel Pentium 4 3.40GHz with 2GB of RAM....

512 Megabytes of RAM - as smooth as it gets.
Review of Kingston ValueRAM DRAM 512 MB PC1600 by
Pisces1977
Advantages: Good price, neat design, reliable, excellent capacity and great performance
Disadvantages: None
.... Kingston serves an international network of distributors and OEM customers in the US, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Latin America, representing more than 3,000 locations worldwide.
-------------------- About the Memory --------------------
As I've already written a similar review regarding the 256 MB, PC3200 DDR - a lower capacity module than this 512 MB PC3200 DDR type. I guess I will have to input some similar information already on my other review - just in case readers don't read my previous 256 MB PC3200 DDR's review.
As some of you may be aware that handling electronic devices without due care can cause damage to the device by electrostatic shock, I suggest new-users (or continuous users) to touch full stainless-steel kitchen taps (or any unpainted, grounded metal object) to drain electrostatic that's already charged around...

Sandisk 512Mb memory card
Review of Sandisk Securedigital SD 512 512 MB by
01zesty01
Advantages: Small, reliable
Disadvantages: The lock feature is delicate
...So the SanDisk SD flash memory card 512MB.
Well as a start like most memory cards these days , its nice and small ( perfect for getting lost if your not careful). Despite its size its nice and long lasting ( well mines still alive anyway..or it was the last time i used it) you get a ncie handy case, you know incase you like accidently sit on it or something.
So 512MB , its a pretty good amount of memory for camera use , but if you really do like to get out there and basicly film your entire life, you\'d probably be better off with more memory, i recomend the 1gb or 2gb sandisk memory card.
So what a lovely shade of blue, hmm, yes its a bit boring compared to other memory cards, but what do you expect, half the time you cant see it anyway because its inside a device.
I found that the card can be read and written really fast...

**512MB memory all on a stick**
Review of Dell USB Memory Key USB flash drive - 512 MB by
1st2thebar
Advantages: A lot of memory 512MB worth
Disadvantages: It can get lost in a brief case
...**DELL USB MEMORY STICK**
-- USB Flash Drive 512 MB --
- Dell -
Dell is now the 25th most wealthiest corporation in the US. Why Dell has done so well is due to the smaller component sales -- such as the USB Flash Drive memory keys, among many other computer components. That is a digital USB device.
Dell was founded by Michael Dell in 1984 and was originally named 'PC limited'. At that time IBM was the main specialists in computer products and components worldwide. Michael learn't his trade by using IBM mainframe computers on processing speeds of only 2MHz. A 'MHz' is a tiny fraction of the kind of processor speeds that are in the market today. Dell's visionary could see beyond the systems he worked with and wanted to find away to quicken up data processing and so got to work on building a prototype. In 1985 he managed...

512mb memory unit - too small?
Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 Memory Unit - 512MB by
shamis4
Advantages: SMall and easy to take around with you and for storing game saves
Disadvantages: Expensive and a hard drive would be far more beneficial
...If you purchase the xbox arcade console then you will get one of these 512mb memory units free with the console. However if you opt to go for either the premium console or the elite console you will get the main hard drive for free and will have less need for these. These small memory units are both advantageous as they are small and compact and suitable for certain tings. However they are on the other hand quite pathetic compared to the 20gb or 120gb hard drives which are also available on the market. I currently own both a 20gb hard drive and one of these 512mb memory units as well.
What is it?:
This is a 512mb memory unit for use in xbox 360 consoles - all of them whether they are the arcade or the elite. It is white to fit in with the typical colour of the console. It simply slots into a little slot which is appropriately...

Make it 512, Make it Lexar.
Review of Lexar Securedigital SD 512 512 MB by
steveking5000
Advantages: Size, Realability,Write Speed,
Disadvantages: Costly,
...You can use SD cards in all sorts of products now, such as Digital Cameras,PDA's,MP3 players and much much more. They can range from £20-£60 in the 512mb range. This one costing £40 for me, and your paying mostly for the name.
I bought this brand new from a internet website, and i have not had one problem with it since. No random file loss, no techinal problems so it comes pretty hassle free. Owning a cheaper SD card, i have neither had problems with that and it was half the price...so again, its mainly Lexars name that costs the most on this, but with a respected company, customer services is so much greater.
One difference to other cheaper SD makes is the 4.8 MBps / 32x writing speed, so when taking a photo/videothrough a digital camera, the data really can transfer safely onto the flash storage with no problems what...

Sony MSX-M512S 512mb
Review of Sony MSX-M512S Pro Duo Memory Stick by
dharma.roy
Advantages: Fast, Small
Disadvantages: Possibly not enough space
...This is a great memory stick it is compatible with many electrionics made my mainly sony.
I got this free when i purchased a w800i and i found it very handy as the phone did not have a very large memory only 32mb, this is like space for only 5 songs or 30 picture files depending on the quality. This on the other hand this memory card has 512mb which is like 16x more space as the phone memory. Now that is a lot.
Now the fransfer speed details for this priduct is listed below:
Transfer: 159 Mbit/s (20 MB/s)
Minimum write speed: 15 Mbit/s
Maximum write speed: 80 Mbit/s (High Speed PRO Duo)
This means that if you have a device that is capable of transfering up to the full speed of this memory stick then you will be able to fill it up within 30 secs as the transfer rate is 20mb/s.
This memory card is highly used and fu | | |
