Great MP3 Player - Simplicity and Elegance

Advantages: Looks great, airtight integration with iTunes
Disadvantages: Feels too small

.... This iPod got me into podcasts, because they are so easy to set-up. The battery life is good. Sound quality is average. I had a Sony walkman before and sound quality between the two is quite noticable. iPod nano lacks bass. There are EQ settings but not user-configurable ones. Apple's main advertising with this player is CoverFlow. This is when you can browse your music collection by flicking thro' album artwork. However, often it time a few seconds for the images to load, so is not as pretty as appears on adverts. Also it will take you AGES to go thro' your iTunes library and get all the album artwork. I tried it with a FM transmitter (generic) and it worked fine. Overall an excellent MP3 player that boasts airtight integration with iTunes and looks very attractive. However often feels too small. ...Ive had the ipod touch 8gb since christmas and i got it for £200 and i think that it was worth every penny but now the price has dropped slightly to £179.99 which makes this product even better ive had 3 ipods before (nano 1st,2nd and shuffle) and this is the best by far!!! it has a great 3.5" touch screen and the 8gb internal memory is more than enough to store your favorite music and a few music videos or a couple of movies but if you want a mp3 player to watch movies the ipod touch is the product for you but i would go for the 16gb model as 8gb realy isnt big enough for movies and your favorite music. i would highly reccomend this product to anyone who is lookin for a new mp3/mp4 player . i think this ipod is so good that what ever mp3 you own im sure you would realy enjoy the ipod touches features and great look. and the battery life...

...its hard to write a review of a product like the Ipod touch, because every one of you have read everything about it somewhere else. I have to say that Ipod touch is simply something I've fallen in love with and find myself addicted to. I saw it in the Apple store before Christmas and I said to myself that this would be my next purchase. After pestering my parents, I got it for Xmas and they bought one for my sister as well (she is not into electronics) - she loved it almost as much as me and I've never seen her use her old MP3 player anywhere near as much as this. It is quite like the Iphone with the touch screen and you can do that pinch and zoom thing as well which i really like. The memory of 8gb is sooo big that I can store all my pictures and music and films on it and still have enough room to browse the web - YES you can search...

...One things for sure Ipods are getting more popular by the day as more features and different designs are being introduced to these almost everyday necessities. I purchased the 8gb version 3 months or so back and ive been really please with it. It stands out from the rest as it has a large screen for viewing videos and photo's, but not only that it has the built in touch sensitive display which is very easy to use and im sure very popular. It has also introduced the new wii-fi so that you can connect to a wireless connection whether it be from the comfort of your home or in a coffee shop etc. when you go to i-tunes ur music and files can be transferred to your ipod within seconds though videos take a bit longer. All in all id say this product is worth investing in if you have a spare £180....

...pointless in this world as most of use have all our number stored on our phones and lets be honest, if you have a £200 mp3 player then your going to have a mobile phone. The calendar is ok but nothing really special or that beat a traditional mobile phone. The 8gb memory can also be a problem with this version of the touch. After you have loaded 1 movie and a couple of album onto the device, most of the memory has gone. This means that you have to travel around with less media than other Ipods, such as the video, and therefore you have less choice to chose and have to resort to going back onto your pc to load more thing on each time. Be aware that you must have a computer which is connected to the internet to download itunes which is the only software that will properly work with the Ipod touch.
