...When i first bought my Nintendo Gamecube i picked up two games and the logic 3 123 block (8 meg) memory card at the same time. After just two days of using this memory card i discovered that it had a tendancy to lose my saved games which annoyed me beyond words, so i took it back to my local 'Game' and they offered me an identical replacement without any arguments whatsoever (which surprised me a little but i was happy) Again to my horror after only 2-3 days of use i experienced major problems with this memory card, this time however the replacement memory card would display a 'corrupt data' message telling me that i needed to format the card in order to continue using it, this ofcourse meant that i would lose all my saved games and hi-scores!! Advantages: OK space to save data, it is vital if you plan to play on your PS2!!

Unfortunately it would seem that they haven't so there is likely little point in me buying High-speed cards in the future (other than to save download time back at the PC). After about 15 quick test photos I switched the camera to playback mode and began to look through my handiwork. Read access times seem quicker but this may be deceptive as the camera renders the 2Mb JPEG in playback rather than the 8Mb RAW image. On hitting the 8th image I was dismayed to find an error message pop up on the screen informing me that there had been an error reading my memory card. I turned the camera off and on again only to hit the same problem when I got to the 8th image. 4 formats of the memory card later and losing all of my (thankfully disposable) test pictures and this problem appeared to go away.
