My 9 inches of heaven

Advantages: Classy packaging, fresh & fruity smell, distinctive
Disadvantages: Bit over-powering

...Thats exactly how tall this bottle is - 9 inches (bet that puts quite a few of you lads to shame!!!). I am a bit of a fan of Ghost but recently on an outing (I love shopping outings!) to Debenhams I walked past the perfume counter (quite quickly I must add to avoid being sprayed with 10 different perfumes by the women in white coats!) and I spotted this sleek looking bottle. I stopped in my tracks! The bottle itself is truly amazing...a tall (9 incher) elegant slim bottle in a diamond shape. Frosted glass on the front and back - clear at the sides, and a frosted plastic lid with the DKNY logo on. The box is fabulous - a silver 'oiled' effect which you can see rainbow colours in. ...! Character Options and BBC together have provided us with many Doctor Who toys and merchandice over the last few years. One of these toys is the Micro Universe sets. These are small, inch high, figures of the characters from the episodes. They come in packs of 3 or 5, and you can only ever see 1 (in the 3-pack) or 2 (in the 5-pack) of figures you are going to get. This allows you to swap your 'doubles' with friends, making collecting more fun and adventurous. Now I say they are an inch high, but as k9 is actually smaller than the rest of the characters in general, you will find he is a lot shorter here too, about half an inch! Though he is in no way less 'lifelike'. His shade of grey for his 'tin' is the perfect colour, and his little radar ears and long tail are in proportion too. He even has his little coloured buttons on the panel on his back...

Review of Doctor Who Micro Universe K9

518ft and 9 inches of pure pleasure!

Advantages: Plenty to do, fun for all the family, not too expensive and a brilliant circus!
Disadvantages: None unless you are scared of heights.

...'t leave the safety of the indoor level. It did used to be possible to climb one further level only a few people at time could go right into the point but this has long since been stopped. In the indoor section of the top of the tower a massive piece of the metal flooring has been removed and replaced with a two inch thick piece of laminated glass, known as the walk of faith you will be encouraged to go step on to it and look straight down at the road and cars bellow. The initial step onto the glass turns your stomach it is a very weird experience, it really feels like you are stepping off the edge. You can buy certificates to say you have taken the walk of faith whether you have or not but come on no cheating!! Ok as I said at the beginning I like to leave the circus till last and have done so in my review also, it really is a casa...

Wasting time with District 9

Advantages: Good action sequences, interesting moral ideas.
Disadvantages: Terrible (and I mean terrible) acting, disjointed.

...When an alien race finds itself marooned on earth they are fortunate that a caring humanity give them refuge and their own land in South Africa known as District 9. Years on however, these prawn-like creatures are seen as a resource eating nuisance and live in slum conditions. The subject of abuse from a corrupt government and Nigerian gangs they are about to be relocated to the even worse District 10. Fortunately, they may well have found themselves an unwitting ally in government stooge Wilkus who finds himself exposed to a DNA altering gas. As he becomes more alien by the day will he become their Saviour? I don't really get District 9. It seems to have gone down well with almost all film audiences and critics but I feel like I must be missing something. I think maybe a lot of it is because it has strong apartheid references...

Makes quick work of everything

Advantages: Cuts through many materials, big disc

...After recently having our drive extended, I thought I would have a go at saving money and lay a block paved path down the side of my shed. At first I was using a brick bolster, which split the bricks in exactly the same place, no matter where I hit it. There seems to be some sort of weak point in the brick. I'd prefer a 9 inch one!

If 9 inches isn't enough, stretch it!

Advantages: Power Rangers theme
Disadvantages: Limited play value

...succeeded and we decided that our youngest son would buy him a stretchy power ranger for his sixth birthday. These come in other colours to match the characters from the series but we picked up a red ranger and, needless to say, he was delighted when he discovered just what his thoughtful little brother had chosen for him! We (well, he) had hours of fun, tugging at the power rangers limbs and watching him almost instantly go back to his usual 9" size, without any signs of being stretched at all. It was pretty amazing to watch to see how far the toy can actually be stretched - the first time, at least! The manufacturers claim that this can be stretched up to three times its original size, without damaging the toy at all and, based on our experience, I'd say that is fairly accurate. The reality is that, much as I don't want to say 'I told you so...

The Stylish and Sexy U9

...Before I start this review, I should say that the U9 is my first new phone in over three years. This is something pretty major for me as I was very attached to my old phone - it might have been old and basic but it offered everything I needed, and I found that most newer phones were either ugly or had the exact same (or worse) specifications than my old phone did - which was pretty surprising for one that was so old!
