...Firstly I would like to say I own the O2 exclusive Chrome Samsung D900. Ok now for the review, i will try to lay it out in sections to make it easy to read and understand; 1. Looks- Until recently the looks of a phone was not my top concern, I was more interested in what the thing could actually do!! Well as I mentioned before I have the chrome version of this phone, I didn't like it when I seen the looks of it in the shop.. but now it has grown on me and I love it. It is not a cheap look.. it looks very professional and expensive (but then.. isn't it?). I cant fault the looks at all. Dark back, shiny chrome front.. grey keypad (well its the closest colour I can relate it to.. a very dark grey.. nice.) and white writing on the buttons with the exception of the answer and end call buttons. ...After reading a lot of reviews when trying to buy a new phone recently, I finally settled on the D900 on the recommendation of a friend, and I'm glad I did. It's sleek and stylish and packed with many features which I'm still discovering nearly 3 months on. The design itself is very nice, and it's easy to handle. The key pad is nicely spaced out, the only downside being the lip at the bottom of the pad - people with bigger hands may find using the bottom 3 numbers a problem. ...I recently upgraded to my new LG KM900 Arena from my current LG KF600 Venus after a bit of an argument with my (now) former provider. I got a great deal from Orange so I'm now the proud owner of the Arena. It's a candybar phone with a completely touch screen interface. I was a bit wary about not having a keypad but this phone is very responsive and I haven't had any trouble so far. ...I purchased this phone in November 2006 as part of an online O2 offer which included 500 texts and 500 off peak minutes a month for £25 and of course a free Samsung D900. My previous phone was a D500 so in terms of thickness this was a lot more pleasing for my pocket and less bulky when on the move. The layout of the front of the phone was pleasing to the eye and I have had no problems texting with the key layout although if you have large fingers then it could be a bit more difficult. Battery charging time is normally around three hours and I can usually make a charge last at least two days with moderate use. ...I basicly brought this phone as a cheaper alternitive to the D900 but having said that it is not a bad phone. Sleek in style and did have all the features in a phone that I was looking for, it is not really that different to the D900 apart from it's mermory cap and the fact that the touch key pad is sentive to the touch and juring use of the phone the canel button or call button can be easily caught by accident making over all useage abit of a challenge, texting is mostly what I find difficult as brushing your finger over the cancel button will delete some writen text if not all, thankfully it will not call out if it is in your pocket as the phone will not operate unless it is fully open, it doent have a key lock as such but is key locked if the phone is shut. Camera is good quality for a 2 MP and I am pleased with my pictures...
