The Apple (MacBook Pro) - More than Eve ever thought it would be

Advantages: Everything - the look, the functionality, the accessibility...everything
Disadvantages: The price - but still worth every penny

...made me choose this model? I wanted a laptop that was lightweight, powerful and could handle lots of design work - memory and speed were important. I was initially looking at a Macbook Air as they are very light weight. I needed a computer laptop, and wanted an Apple as it's a brand I trust and have never had a problem with. I had used lots of PCs and HP laptops with work - all of them were invariably slow to some degree. If they weren't continually asking for updates or crashing, they would be very slow and sluggish. I've been using a macbook since 2007, but even recently that was starting to get tired and the spec was gradually going out of date. Initially, I was put off the Macbook Pro by its weight. It's 2.5kg, which for a laptop is quite a heffa. I wanted to be able to take it to meetings and hook up to networks easily, so...

Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz - 17" TFT

Advantages: nice screen, good battery life, fast specs
Disadvantages: large size (price?)

...Apple mac-books, where to start... ok, so to start, it is an apple, that means you get a solid quality product and on the whole very good customer are. this particualar apple is deffinatly more suited to being a media center than other laptops. At first glance you realise that it is a fairly large laptop, this allows for a big screen, which being an apple ffers clear vivid displays, unfortunatly the big screen increases the overal size and also uses more battery, however, the 4.5 hour yattery is still very good for an entertainment laptop. The laptops technical specs include a very fast 2.5 ghz dual core proccesor which is very fast, the dual core allows it to tackle multiple tasks quicly as well as increasing the overall speed of the laptop. The price is quite steep however, but i believe, if given the money, it is...

Apple Macbook Pro 2.66ghz, i7, 4GB, 500GB. Technology marvel.

Advantages: Ease of use, capabilities, the best laptop available.
Disadvantages: Price? Weight?

...other laptops expect to pay double if not triple. A superior product? Yes, but please remember, if all you require is something to obsess over Facebook with then you don't need to spend the money. A regular laptop is the better bet or maybe even go for an iPad. I know what I'd do in this situation and all bets are off on what this is when you take into account my high regards for this company called Apple. To sum up, this Macbook Pro is superb. It does not complete my life but it does make it less stressful and more easily organised. It completes any challenge given and its use is of such ease computing is now done with a smile. Just ask yourself this - do you need one? The price is high but in my opinion worth it since the question of whether you want one or not is already answered. Yes you do.
